Very charming place well located

The room was a bit small

This hotel was amazing. Right in the heart of the Village of Edam. It was a five minute walk from the class I was taking. The staff were awesome, extremely courteous, very accommodating, friendly. The breakfast each morning was a feast. We ate dinner in the restaurant many nights during our stay, and every meal was delicious and reasonably priced. My room was beautifully appointed and clean. I would love to be able to go back to Edam, and stay at the l’Auberge Damhotel.

There was nothing I didn’t like about this hotel.

Location was good and the hotel is very atmospheric and historical.

The room was tiny. Barely room to move around the bed and even less if you have a couple of suitcases.

Great location in the centre of Edam. Opposite both the Edam museum and the main cheese shop. Hotel offered secure place to leave our bicycles.

Although breakfast was supposed to be from 8am, we had to go to the kitchen to let staff know we were there and then there was no food until 08.20. Fortunately we were only cycling on to Amsterdam and not further. We were not offered orange juice, yet when we left the hotel at 09.30 fresh orange juice was being made for other guests.
