Pension The Big Blue

I can't rate this place highly enough. Their communication was fantastic, we were met at the port by, who I can only assume is, the sweetest human being in all of Greece. A very short walk up some steps (it's worth it) and you get to the most beautiful, clean rooms with gorgeous views and well thought out beautiful little balconies or private spaces per room. I highly recommend this stay and only wish I could stay longer. A short walk away they also provide car rental and I also highly recommend this!! It was easy, well priced and again - great communication.

Not one single thing.

Quiet at the end of September. Balcony views of the bay. A few steps from the port.

Weak wifi. Temperamental TV.

The most outstanding was definitely the great team, Christos and his family were all the time very kind and helpful that we felt like home. At first our air-condition did not work properly and they immediately fixed it. Also they helped us to get very spontaneously a car for rent. The location is perfect as it is very close to the port, has very nice views and is also close to a botanical garden which organizes sometimes events. The room is functional and the bed was very comfortable. Whatever we needed we immediately got help. Thank you for this outstanding hospitality!

The bathroom is quite small and over the shower there was a sloping ceiling. Maybe it should be renewed at some point, but it did not really bother us.

Location was brilliant, right in town but quiet and with views over the port. Hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. Room was clean basic but practical - great value for money.
