A BIG NEGATIVE: I had my six year old child and we couldn't sleep till close to 1:00am due to a lot of noise from a music band at the restaurant despite our room location on the fourth floor of the Suswa block. I complained to a receptionist at 11pm and again at midnight. They said they had asked the band to reduce the noise but they didn't. I'd return, but wouldn't accept a room at the Suswa block without confirmation that the band would not be playing in the evening. Spotted a cockroach around the kitchen cabinets.
POSITIVES: The following day I requested to move to a room in the Lenana block and staff were highly helpful in moving us to one facing the Norfolk hotel. We had a fantastic experience in the Lenana block, and I added four more nights. Both blocks have excellent large and clean rooms with high architectural quality.
