The location is perfect, close to beach, restaurants and shops. No need to hire a car! Staff very helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend a stay at Kalimera. All the local people are so lovely, making this village a very special place to visit, and not over crowded at all.

Prettiest and most convenient place to stay in the Moraitika area!

This was our second year in Moraitika and made even better by our stay at the beautiful Kalimera. Giannis and Aleksandra were exceptionally kind, hospitable and accommodating and went above and beyond for us - we were made to feel part of the family from day one! Without a doubt the most authentically Greek accommodation in the area and located within close proximity of the beach, bars, tavernas and shops. All in walking distance on the beachfront, the main road and up in the old village. The apartment was spotless and cleaned almost everyday, providing fresh towels and bed linen and anything else we required. Pool area though small was relaxing and provided with sturdy beds and umbrellas. It was never exceptionally busy which made it the perfect summer holiday spot. The outside dining space was also a little gem as there was no table within the apartment. We loved everything about it, it felt like home and we will 100% be back!

If we had to be meticulous, a very minor dislike was the fact there was no table to eat inside our room. The kitchen was compact so it’s understandable but it would’ve been nice to have somewhere to sit. A glass screen would have also been preferable for the shower as curtains are a nuisance when there isn’t much space. However, there was absolutely nothing that overshadowed our fantastic stay!

I almost don't want to review as I want to keep this gem to myself!

I cannot rate Kalimera Studios high enough. Whilst there, I booked the next available vacancy to return! And two more for next year! Everything about this stay exceeded my expectations. Aleksandra and Yannis are exceptional hosts and my mother and I were so well looked after and made to feel like old friends. The room was beautiful and incredibly clean. It offered an authentically Greek ambience and was perfect.

If I had to be picky, I don't like shower curtains because they stick to you when you shower, but that is being exceptionally pedantic when thinking if there was anything I'd improve!

From the entrance, the welcome, the accommodation, the pool, the wonderful hosts Alexandra and Iouannis - there was nothing not to like. The apartments and surroundings were kept spotlessly clean and the location was excellent for both the beach and facilities there and the shops and restaurants. A superb and utterly charming place to stay.

Lovely welcome, clean and whitewashed accommodation, good shower pressure with plenty of hot water, stylish seating areas outside rooms, easy parking, and short walk to restaurants and beach - and well-priced. We were very satisfied!

It was a shame the pool wasn't open in October, but we were allowed to use the bigger one at the apartments over the road, so no real problem.

Perfect stay with the nicest owners

Kalimera Studios does not only offer beautiful rooms, a pool and a nice sitting area but also solves all problems and makes your wishes come true. For example, I only sleep well with soft thin pillows. The first night I had troubles sleeping because I had a thick pillow. The next day I asked kindly and received a perfect one. We also had some troubles with the aircon which was fixed immediately. So, ask and receive help. The owners were always really nice and helpful. Besides that, we would recommend COOP for warm bread in the morning. Kalimera has a small kitchen. So, it’s super easy to prepare some breakfast. Additionally, we can recommend Zak’s Taverne. We went there two days in a row and had probably 8 Limoncello on the house 😂. Seriously, the whole town impressed us with kindness.

There was nothing wrong but a mosquito net could be helpful for the evenings. If not, the air conditioner is very good too, since it is located in the kitchen and doesn’t focus the bed.

Best place to stay in Moraitika.

Has everything you need, located in the best part of the area too. Short walk to the beach, shops and restaurants in the area. Aleksandra & Yannis go above and beyond for the guests anything you need they can sort, they can sort you taxi transport if needed as well. Property has lovely rooms with balcony’s, swimming pool out the back with sun loungers and parasols is a lovely addition especially after a hot day at the beach to cool down with some local wine from the coop supermarket 50m from your door. Air con is icy cold unlike many places in Greece these ones work perfect! Property is very clean and fresh it really is the place to be in my eyes in the area.

Exceptional

Kalimera is lovely and one of the best studios/apartments I have stayed in whilst visiting Greece. The location is perfect for beach, supermarket, restaurants, bars and bus stops. The studio was perfectly clean with lovely extra touches such as soap, washing-up liquid, tea towel, toilet roll etc. I have visited Greece many times and no other property offered these extras. Yannis and Alexandra are wonderful hosts and are always on hand to offer help, advice or just chat. The pool was lovely and clean and was well looked after, which was just like the whole place. Excellent location and hosts!

Excellent location, just a stroll into town or down to the beach. Hosts, Yannis and Alexsandra, were very friendly, helpful with excellent recommendations. Pool area and outdoor seating was great, enjoyed cards and meals outside. Terrace was really nice too. Also, beds and pillows were so comfortable.

Bathrooms were small, but that is typical for Europe.

Beautiful bougainvillea

We stayed here for 3 nights, the studio was really lovely, very clean and in a great location. A very easy walk to beautiful beaches, taverna's and shops. The building and apartments are well cared for by the owners who clearly take pride in their business. The owner is lovely and helpful.

Not a criticism by any means. A little bar by the swimming pool would be great or maybe an option to purchase beverages and snacks in the reception. A washing machine facility would be great.

everything about the property was superb, even before we arrived - there was some delay at Stansted and Aleksandra was on hand on support at this point, we were met on arrival and the stay was perfect. We had all the equipment to make it a home from home experience- perfectly located near to the beach and the high street also.

it's a lovely place, perfect for families. it's quiet, clean and with a nice pool. It is ideally centrally located in the island which allowed us to visit easily the north and south of the island. Aleksandra and Yannis are sweet! They are very attentive with their guests and it's really enjoyable. They're also very resourceful and helped us to book activities we wanted to do. They gave us great advise for restaurants, island destinations, boat rentals and taxis. We’re looking forward to going back to kalimera studios for our next vacation with our family.
