Corfu Olivia Apartments

The villa is very well located, 5 minutes walk to the beach, and a couple of minutes to the bakery or supermarket. The only “noise” we heard were birds and a rooster, which we loved!!! We had a really nice big balcony surounded by big yard and flowers. Our view were hills and trees. Rooms were clean and neat. Kitchen is well equiped. The bigest gem is Eleni, our host, who waited for us to arrive at midnight, set everything for us and was very helpful for everything we needed. We appriciate her very much! We would recomend this for a family or couples, we will come back here again definately.

The stay here was absolutely fantastic! Contact with the owner, Elena, is a pleasure - she is an incredibly open, warm and empathetic person. From the first moments I felt very welcome there. The building itself is very well maintained. The rooms have air conditioning and a terrace, which was ideally located - the sun did not interfere, so you could rest peacefully in the fresh air. The location itself was also a big plus - the beach was literally a few minutes walk, and at the same time the area was very quiet and peaceful, which allowed you to really relax. The proximity to the town meant that everything was close at hand. I would really recommend it to anyone! I can't wait to go back!

The location was excellent our host could not have done more for us and was very welcoming. Beach shops and supermarkets where in easy walking distance. Lovely holiday 🥰

Mosquito nets would be a great addition

Great location - was a little tricky to find but the host - Elena met us and helped us get to the location. Elena was a great source of local information and gave us great advice on different spots to visit and some lovely restaurant choices. Has a country feel with roosters waking you up!

Very clean and everything catered for, fresh linen, cleaned bins regularly and air conditioning was a god send!! All amenities very close and the beach!! Elena the Manager was a lovely lovely friendly and efficient lady for whom nothing was too much😁

All was perfect if had a swimming pool this would be perfection but that’s just personal choice😁

The location of the apartments is excellent. It is very quiet and still very close to the beach. Ellena is a great apartment manager. She was very helpful and polite, always available and ready to give any guidance.

One of the terrace door needs a bit of fixing. It opens when it's windy.

We chose this place for 5 days and it was the best choice. Elena was super helpful, hospitable and talkative. She gave us many nice tips and advices, thats why we felt there like at home. We want to say big thank You! :) The room was super clean and quite big. Good equipped kitchenette gave us opportunity to prepare our own breakfast. Location is really good, quite surroundings but in a city centre. You can also see the sea from balcony.

The rooms have no relation with the photos in booking. - Very old, rotten furniture (the bed broke day-one, broken glass on lamps, old smelly closet, the windows didn't close), - Filthy rooms (nobody took the garbage 4 days in a row, no changing sheets for 6 days, only towels after 4 days of complaining), - Small claustrophobic rooms bathroom was as big as a WC - Mosquitoes (you have to purchase your own mosquito repellent, no mosquito screens anywhere) - They insisted on cash upon arrival (upon arrival wasn't mentioned) no credit card (we didn't have enough cash when we arrived so they were "bullying" us every day to get the money) - Sweet-talking handler of the rooms did not actually do anything just trying to calm you down to get the money. Very pressing and annoying calling us 22:30 to get the money. - Outside area in very bad shape and in no condition for kids to play If you pay more than 50€ (full season), 30€ (off season) you are being ripped off. We tried to be as less as possible in the rooms.

The staff was very kind and helped us with everything we asked. The place is 5 minutes walk to the beach. There was a huge garden and the most important - there's a place to park inside (which is rare in the area).

The apartment is small, but very nice, clean and has almost everything needed, especially comparing to what you usually find in Greece. Very close to both the Moraitika beach and the center of the village.

The territory around the house only has an umbrella and chairs, the rest is empty - having more facilities, e.g. a playground or something could be great. Also, the whole Moraitika area between the village center and the beach is very run down, full of abandoned properties, trash everywhere, bad smell etc. It gets very boring very fast if you don't have a car for your daytrips around the island

Quiet location, near an olive trees plantation. Large courtyard and parking available. Elena was kind and available to offer support anytime. Location is walking distance to the beach.

The accomodation offers 2 rooms in the same space, each room with 2 single beds and a bed night stand. Also, one of the rooms offers a built in wardrobe. There is very little space for storage. The kitchen is in the hallway, very narrow, offering a mini bar fridge, a sink and a small stove. It would have been difficult to prepare breakfast, let alone lunch. The only space available for eating is on the terrace, but the table had rust all over. The doors are old and worn out, broken in different places. The rooms are small and there is hardly space to move around. The bathroom is worn out and needs updates. With some updates, the space could be nice, but surely not at the current price. Payment is only cash and upon arrival, without any invoice or proof of payment. Lastly, someone broke into our room at night while we were sleeping (the windows were opened) and stole some of our belongings, so it would be better to close all the windows at night.

The host was very kind. She gave us some useful information. The terrace is large, with a table and chairs, a clothesline and clothes pegs. Spacious yard, enough parking space. Accommodation close to the beach, and close to restaurants and shops.

Our bed linen was never changed, the towels were changed only once, on the fifth day, at our request (we stayed 11 nights), the apartment was not cleaned, nor was the trash taken away (kitchen, toilet). Until now, we have been in many apartments in Greece, in various locations, and our apartment was always cleaned every day, garbage was taken away, toilet paper was refilled,..., and we received clean towels every 3-4 days, and clean bed linen every 5 days. .. Now we were unpleasantly surprised, and the owner cited as the reason the lack of water on the island (?!), and that this is not a hotel accommodation... The Bathroom was ok, although the shower cabin could be a little bigger... The kitchen is small too, but we didn't miss any of the kitchen utensils. The fridge was super mini, like mini bars in hotel rooms - for someone who prepares meals only in the apartment, not enough. The handle on the door of one of the rooms was defective, which we immediately reported, but in 11 days it was not fixed, so we could not open/close the door. Also, the doors to the rooms creaked a lot. We also had problems with opening/closing the door leading to the terrace. The TV is placed at a height of over 2 meters - difficult to watch. The wardrobe exist only in one room, and there is only one shelf. Completely unusable - we kept things in suitcases all the time. The AC in one room was not working, and the owner offered to move our beds to the room where the AC was working, and apologized for the inconvenience. The AC problem was not resolved during the last 4 days of our stay. The apartments are not in a busy street, so there was no noise from cars, motorcycles ..., but we were woken up every morning around 5 by roosters. Also, bells from the nearby church could be heard every hour from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m., and occasionally we heard dogs from nearby houses. In the evening frogs were also heard!

Very nice apartments , clean and well looked after. Located on a peaceful back road but still in close proximity to the beach and to bars and shops.

Would’ve maybe liked a toaster or something for breakfast in the morning.

Great communication with the hosts - they were always available, at the same time I felt at ease. I appreciated how clean and pleasant it was. I recommend breakfast on the balcony - in the shade and cool! Beautiful surroundings of olive trees and a comfortable set for relaxing in the garden - aesthetics for the eyes! Close to everything and off the beaten track - a great combination! Hedgehogs, cicadas and an owl at night & a day on the beaches = a great vacation!

The beds are comfortable - but I couldn't hug my husband :( I prefer a king size bed for couples. The second room can have a sofa bed - it's convenient if the apartment is rented by 2 people. The wardrobe is only in one room, there are no cupboards or shelves in the other room.

The location is great, just off the main road very close to supermarkets and some amazing restaurants and a few minutes walk to the beach with a very big lovely garden. The apartment has great big terrace, and was renovated. Garden is well looked after and clean. The location is a 30 minutes bus ride from the airport. Host were communicative and provided beach toys, baby cot per request and also a baby chair is available if needed. Beach extremely beautiful, quite and relaxing, not crowded at all. Loved the restaurants right on the beach as well. Water clear and warm.

The doors of the apartment were very old and creaking terribly, we were not able to close shut any door not to wake our baby. Also the wooden shutter doors leading to the terrace did not provide soundproofing , the apartment is not on the main road but there still were scooters driving by and dogs barking from the neighbors for hours and also a church bell ringing every hour, from 8 am to 11pm. If you are noise sensitive a noise cancelling earbuds could help. The showerhead was also only working if the water was running on maximum pressure and also leaking from on side so it was difficult to wash our baby without getting all the bathroom wet. In 7 night stay only once was cleaned an it was done superficially without vacuuming under the beds and what was unpleasant for me was that the pillow I was sleeping with was misplaced. Out of the 4 pillows provided one was more soft and I could sleep without having a back/neck pain but after the cleaning, it was replaced and I only found it in the dresser when we checked out, so I had a few uncomfortable nights sleeping with a more bulky pillow. Could be small details for some but for me the quality of sleep is extremely important. The apartment has 2 bedrooms but only one has a dresser but with no shelves, there was no room to unpack, we had our clothes in the luggage for the entire week. Also rooms quite small, had to be extra careful not to hit ourselves in the edges of the bed as there is not much space between the bed and wall. Garbage bags were only available per request, we had our own bags just no the size of the garbage bin.

We loved everything about the apartment, host and location. We would stay again and recommend to all our friends and family. The location to the beach is spot on and shops and taverna's nearby. Nothing was too much trouble for the host also.

From start to finish Vasilis made us feel at home. From the beginning we had to make arrangements before arriving as our flight was due to land after standard check in time and we spoke with Vasilis to arrange this and he gladly accommodated our request. I also had a special request as was celebrating an anniversary and Vasilis had went out of his way to help and make this work for us. We arrived a little late (Sorry Vasilis) to the apartment and met Vasilis who greeted us with a smile and helped us with our bags. We straight away had showers and used the aircon which all worked perfectly. We spoke with Vasilis each day as he would offer his help and freindly local advice and knowledge. The apartments were clean and modern with up to date features you may not find in other apartments in the area. Moraitika is a beautiful town situated 30 mins from Corfu town and about 1 hour north of party town Kavos so perfect for chilling in between these two beautiful hotspots. The Olivia apartments is a great location nestled in between the beach and the town in Moraitika with a nice 5-10 min stroll through local houses with Olive vineyards fire flies (at night) and local plants and wildlife bustling in mid June. Echoes of frogs and vast urban wildlife reverberate across the night sky and the light from local restaurants glisten until way past 12 for some who may enjoy a late bit to eat. Alex in the coop is a very nice shop keeper and George and Angela a mother and son work in a local gift shop not far from the apartments who have great clothes and are such amazing ambassadors for the town. The night life was just kicking off when we arrived with elvis and ozzy Osbourne impersonators and karaoke in buddies on a Wed night some highlights ...would highly recomend a stay in this place. We stayed for 1 week and enjoyed the accommodation we had. The garden in the apartments is beautiful so do enjoy and watch out for local cats who will try and befriend you!

The apartment was very clean, and everything was great about it. Our host, Vasilis, was very helpful with everything we needed, he brought us whatever we asked for, and provided us with plenty of information to our questions. Really recommend 10/10. The beach is also very close, about 5 minutes away. Close to shops and places to eat, and in a very quiet area too.

Everything from the reservation to the stay was perfect. Even though our flight was delayed and we didn't arrive until after midnight, a smiling host was waiting for us at the entrance! Vasilis always makes sure you have everything you need, is very helpful and answers your questions almost immediately. The apartment offers everything you need on vacation. the bathroom is new, clean and very functional. The kitchenette, although small, is equipped with everything you need for cooking .The rooms are very clean and cozy. comfortable balcony with entrance from both bedrooms .The beach and all kinds of shops are within walking distance. The apartment facilities correspond to description at the website. The apartment has well equipped kitchenette, wardrobe, comfortable beds, soft bedsheets and towels, shower cabin with good water pressure, towel racks, toiletries of good quality, slippers, mosquito repellent devices, hairdryer at request, excellent Wi-Fi, flat screen TV, spacious terrace with garden views. It is located in a large nice garden, with olive trees around, in a quiet area, not far from the main road and the beach. Restaurants, supermarkets, tourist agencies, medical service and bus stops are nearby. The host Vasilis was very friendly. He met us on arrival in the evening, helped with the bags, provided a welcome basket. In case of any question he responded quickly. We enjoyed our stay in Corfu Olivia Apartments and would like to come back. We highly recommend this place.

The location is amazing! A few minutes walk to the beach with many restaurants and shops close by. At the same time it’s quiet, with a large garden. The apartment is freshly renowated (rare thing in Greece). We got amazing recommendations for car rental and restaurants from the owner who went abive and beyond to make our stay great. We got a super warm welcome and even a good bye gift. Vasilis also provided a cleaning service mid-stay with change of sheets and towels. I highly recommend this place!

There are tiny details to be finished at the apartment like a light over the kitchen counter but overall there is nothing on the negative side that comes to my mind

The host was very nice. He is very friendly, helped with the bags and responded quickly in case of any question. The apartment even provided some water, butter, marmalade ect. which was very nice after a long trip.

The apartment is bright new, with local touch though. Very rare in Greece. Everything was refurbished, bath and kitchenette, air conditioning were a big plus. Very spacious terrace where you can have breakfast or late dinner. It was very cosy, clean and unusual large ( appropriate for families with kids). You have there anything you need for a quite long stay ( kitchenette well equiped, towels, badsheets, slippers, hairdryer at request, towel racks...) The property is situated at 300 m far from the beach, so short road to the sunbeds. On the beach you can find different restaurants and umbrellas. You walk 5 min till the town to supermarkets, pharmacies or groceries. We spent 7 days here with our toddler and enjoyed a lot. The host, Vasilis was offering us everything we needed: recommendations, everyday support and he arranged also for the taxi for the airport. We would recommend this spot anytime! I think we will come back next year!
