Lakes Edge, located near beautiful Okere Falls, Lake Rotoiti, Rotorua. The cottage,s are situated 20m from the water's edge with own boat ramp, 4 boat jetty and board-walk. Relax!

The tranquility and sheltered aspect provides for year-round enjoyment, or enjoy many lake activities avail such as fishing, skiing, picnicking or visiting hot springs on the lake, walks to the falls to watch, river rafting over the waterfalls, local fishing charters, Rotoiti Explorer Large boat charter and dinner cruises. 20 mins to Rotorua. 25 mins to coast beaches, coffee etc at the licensed Okere Falls Cafe.

Modern kitchen/lounge/dining, auto washer/dryer, dishwasher, gas hob, oven, large frypan, microwave, gas hot water and heating, New Air Conditioning Main lounge, covered area with BBQ.
Tea/coffee starter kit. Spices and cooking aids
The cottage is more like a home than a bach, is very well equipped with everything you could need from Toasted Sandwich to Coffee plunger, Bullet Juicer
Dinghy/Kayaks/ Bikes available by prior request, USERS' RESPONSIBILITY TO HAVE OWN SUITABLE LIFE VESTS (requires signed waiver )
Koru 2 (Second Cottage) Quoted Rate is same as for Koru 1 includes 3 persons, max 4 Adults
The Booking can be changed to Koru 2 for those that require 2 bedrooms on one level ( same rate applies or special rate for 2 only Guest's please ask)

We have kept our cleaning rate low and the amount charged only covers a portion of the cleaners charges.
Please leave house in a tidy condition with dishes etc washed in dishwasher and put away, benches, sinks, surfaces, including bathrooms vanity & wc cleaned and sanitized.
Please leave used beds open
Cleaners will clean and sanitize entire house again, vacuum, and will have made the beds with freshly laundered linen before you arrive.
I will arrange for the cleaners to leave sufficient cleaning products there.

Great location
Hired both houses for our family and had the best Xmas stay right on the water front.
The houses are supplied with everything you could possibly need. Friendly owners and very helpful.
Plenty of room for boat and jetskis.
Very clean and accomodating highly recommend.

We had a great time here. Bach has all equipment you could possibly need. Great for 2 families staying together. Boat ramp allows easy access to the lake. Easy to find and quiet location

As advertised, nice property, good facilities.
Just a couple of very minor things - spices in space rack seem about a decade old and faulty wiring on one of the bedside lamps. But not worried about those minor things - Overall great stay, happy to recommend to others.

This little cottage has character. Situated on the lake, it is peaceful and beautiful. There is a shared drive with the neighbouring cottages on each side. As described there are 2 cottages joined by a common covered sitting area and shared front door. We stayed in Koura 1 which was plenty of space for us 4 adults. Kitchen was well stocked. Communication was a bit of a challenge at first. We did not receive arrival instructions until 8pm so we ended up going to the neighbor who shared the caretaker Mike’s contact info. Mike was very helpful over the phone walking us through entry and basic instructions about our stay. Overall would recommend staying here if you want a quiet spot out of the busy touristy Rotorua, but easily accessible at approx 20mins drive away.
