Beachpoint, 401

Clean and in a very good location. There was a good restaurant across the road. Several restuarants and coffee shops wihtin a kilometre's walk. Apart from the occasional anti-social noise-makers the area was quiet. The view of the very close beach and ocean was excellent.

The only real concerns was the heat. The balcony was drenched in sunlight from noon to sunset and it was too hot to sit there for that part of the day. The air-conditioner in the main room made the inside temperature bearable, but it was hard to get the bedrooms cool enough for comfortable sleeping. The ceiling fans made sleeping possible.

Amazing water views, walking distance to the beach, shops and cafes. Great apartment size for a small family.

The dishwasher drained the hot water which meant you couldn't have a shower if the dishwasher was running.

The location was good being close to all facilities, bed was comfortable and parking was good.

The furniture was old with pillows looking like they were from the forties and smelt. the bed cover was also old. there were insufficient places to put our clothes and food i.e. in the bedroom there were no chest of draws. we had to place them on the floor. The kitchen had no food pantry as they were all filled up with crockery. For people staying for 2 weeks or more people need sufficient space to put things away so they are not lying around the unit. We have stayed there before and the furniture is the same and also my daughter there and nothing has changed. There is 1 clock which is the bedroom and we had to put it in the lounge room. we had 2 other families stay in other units there and there units were good.
