Please don't get me wrong. The location and the beds are good.

I didn't like that I had paid for a family room and I got a double room. When I tried to get the difference back I was directed to booking.com and after that I was the ping pong ball between the hotel and booking.com. The room was supposed to be with a sea view. I had a glimpse of the sea and the wall of the other part of the hotel. I'm really disappointed about this.

The day receptionist did not understand Swedish, nor English. Fortunately her colleague did both.

Beautiful hotel with great views.

The location was absolutely breathtaking. It's a very peaceful and quiet town. The staff was very helpful, even though there were language barriers. They have a beautiful lobby like a 5 star hotel, and a beautiful backyard to sit and enjoy the saltdalfjorden.

The city was very hot and we couldn't open out windows all the way or have a fan. No vegan food for breakfast, and the hotel never got back to our message on booking.

Bathroom was top notch and beds were super comfy.

The dinner buffet was way overpriced. We paid 900 NOK for 2 adults + 1 tap beer. Food was delicious but in my opinion not worth the high price.

My best experience ever.

The decision was made in an emergency situation. The hotel manager was nearly the only one in the hotel. He made an excellent service, dinner and breakfast for us 16 on a nordic oldtimer car journey.

Disappointing

terrific lake view

The food looks good but lack of taste, we ordered 3 dishes for the dinner, the price is about 150Euro in total, but they forced to add about 30Euro tips directly in the bill. We haven't seen this before, we did continue the trip in Norway after staying here, something like this never happened again… The elevators and the corridors are very old, the gastronomy area is new and refurbished, the room is/smelled refurbished but in a very normal quality. The most part of this hotel is still under refurbishment. Which means they looks not so good. After check in, we could not find the room, because the reception gave us the wrong direction of the rooms. The first time when we started to find the rooms and passed through the reception, they saw us and without saying anything. The second time, I just went directly to the reception and asked about the rooms, then they finally told us the are sorry that they gave us the wrong direction…

Breakfast was excellent; staff helpful and courteous; location superb.

The general impression was that the hotel was under-staffed - the receptionist had to juggle too many functions, causing unnecessary waiting by guests at reception. The dining-room menu was inadequate for a stay of more than a couple of nights - the vegetarian option remained the same throughout.

For the money we would have expected a better room. No complaints about the breakfast.

The breakfast had a varied choice and was very good and the coffee first class

The room needs updating, cracks all down the bathroom wall. No waste bin in the bathroom, the tap was very hard to turn. Caught my hand on a screw sticking out from the wall by the little bin in the room. View from window was a dark wall and some trees. Lacking extra pillows for the price of the room.
