Central location with everything within easy walking distance (e.g. the Mercat de l'Olivar, which also has a branch of the Mercadona supermarket chain open until 21:30, the Intermodal bus station for trips around the island and the historic centre of Palma) - but at the same time quiet at night. Highly professional approach with excellent communication with Hannah, who always responded promptly and sent us a fantastic manual to the property in electronic form before our arrival - with some excellent recommendations for local restaurants. The water filter in the kitchen also saved carrying heavy bottles of water in the heat.

Nothing at all - it was perfect and we would be glad to return soon. Many reviewers have commented on the steep stairs, but we had no problem at all - even our blind foster son managed them without any difficulties.

The communication from the host was excellent. She managed to get us access a little earlier and checked on us without being intrusive. The apartment was well equipped and spotless. There were excellent touches such as enough coffee pods, water and a bottle of wine waiting for us. The location was perfect.

The shower door needed a bit of attention, if I’m being picky.

Excellent location. Right in the heart of the city and where you want to be if you want to be close to the quaint old streets of the city. Yes, you do get some street noise, but what do you expect when choosing to stay so central?! However, the street noise wasn’t a major issue for us when trying to sleep. The apartment itself is gorgeous. Perfect size and included everything we needed. We ate out most of the time, but you will find all you need for self catering at the apartment. When I booked, I thought we would have one small balcony but I was wrong. We had three! Which was a massive bonus as we loved sitting outside in the morning before starting our days exploring Palma. We did hear other guests a couple of times coming home late, which did wake us but this cannot be helped and could happen anywhere you stay. Just luck of the draw with regards to other guests. The church bells start at 9:00 and sound beautiful and super impressive when you’re sat out on a balcony. We loved being next to the bells. Nice touch that the apartment has a separate tap in the kitchen for reverse osmosis water, meaning we didn’t have to buy bottled water for the apartment. The stairs leading from the front entrance of the building to the apartments are steep and narrow. Fine for us and something you’d expect in an old apartment block in town. Nothing old about the apartment itself, though. It’s really modern and beautifully designed. I have trouble sleeping and the bed was very comfortable! The apartment also has a small dining table and chairs, a sofa, TV, fridge with freezer section, great shower, hairdryer, ironing board and iron, air conditioning and lots of cleaning products and toiletries. There was even a bottle of cava in the fridge, and coffee pods for the coffee machine and some sugar and tea. Our host was on hand when we needed her with a quick WhatsApp message. And she always responded very fast and even helped us book a taxi back to the airport on our last day.

The staircase is extremely steep and narrow—this should be made very clear in the listing. There are stairs, and then there are these stairs! Not suitable for elderly guests or anyone with a large suitcase. The sofabed in the front living room was very uncomfortable. Despite closing the shutters and curtains, the room remained noisy due to poor insulation. The property is located on a shopping street, and even when shops are closed, the street noise carries. The bathroom photos were misleading. There was no shelf or space to place towels as shown. Only after mentioning that we had to leave wet towels on the bed or chairs did the host added a hook behind the bathroom door.
