Kemp Town Sea View Balcony Apartment

Good location (despite being on a hill). Light and reasonably airy. Has a dishwasher (that we didn't use).

Only one set of keys for two guests! This meant having to constantly use the key box. This key box is not illuminated and my fellow guest had great difficulty reading the numbers. It is also very fiddly for anyone with arthritis or any coordination issues. Not quite enough crockery. There is a dishwasher but not enough crockery etc to use it. We had to resort to washing up the same few items by hand (with no dish brush!). The waste and recycling facilities were inadequate. The welcome pack refers vaguely to street bins in a location they didn't appear to exist. There were street bins elsewhere but they had disappeared on the morning of our departure! There was no way to separate out recycling (in what categories?) and compostables from landfill.

The location is excellent, the hot water is plentiful, and the beds are amazingly comfortable. Plus, there's a bus stop outside.

The front door from the door sticks, and the lock box for the keys is difficult to open. Plus the balcony turns into a giant puddle when it rains due to poor drainage.

It was very clean, had all the facilities we needed. Walking distance to the sea side. The contact person was very helpful.

It's on the 1st floor and the only way to access was a narrow stair case, taking the luggages to the flat was very challenging or better say impossible. Overnight parking is available but 10 minutes walk away.

The size of bedrooms, the living area and kitchen and closeness to amenities

How close it is to a bus stop so slightly noisy given the buses that frequent it.
