Some of our family favorites include Torch lake wine cellars with a driving range, tennis courts and playground in Alden, a beer down at Short's in Bellaire, and roads trips to Charlevoix and Traverse City, both about 40 minutes away.
Back at the cottage, unwind in the cozy living room by the fireplace, challenge your friends to a game of ping pong on the deck, or start up a bonfire down by the lake. Prepare delicious meals in the fully stocked kitchen, complete with all the necessary appliances, utensils, spices, and coffee. House and property are amazing. There are so many different places and ways to relax on this property. This is a great location, with an easy drive to many dining and shopping options. On the lake, it is an easy boat ride to Clam River and Clam Lake which is a fun side adventure. The host is very friendly and helpful. She checked in with us multiple times to make sure we had everything we needed for our stay. We really felt like cherished guests. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

My family very much enjoyed our stay. Everything was perfect. The house had everything we needed. It was great to rent the Pontoon boat and Jet Skis available. The view is spectacular. Enjoyed the bonfire area and grill. Maureen was great to work with and answered any questions we had right away.

We enjoyed our stay at the Ballinagh II Cottage. There was more than enough room to accommodate our large family of 12. The sunsets were incredible. Plenty of toys for the adults and kids. Maureen was very helpful with any questions that we had and very fast response. She made sure that our family had an enjoyable stay. Highly recommend the Cottage for a family vacation.
