Amazing house with great meeting space. Nice mix of bedroom/bathrooms. Only negative is the steep driveway. This is the 2nd time we stayed here and will definitely look to book again.

This home served our group of 10 women well with lots of amenities to enjoy.
Pros: Comfortable beds, sauna (takes a while to heat up so start early!), hot tub, and theater room, plenty of games such as pinball machines, foosball and more. The large dock and lawn chairs to lay in Sun.
Cons: For such a beautiful and expensive VRBO we were surprised they did not provide soap, shampoo/conditioner for the showers. No beach towels and they do not want the bath towels outside the house. The kitchen was lacking serving items such as salad bowls, utensils for serving, and knives are in need of sharpening and cooking pans are dated. We would have loved to have an outdoor table and space to enjoy meals on nice days.

This space was an amazing location for our bi-annual strategy session with our executive team of eleven. It has plenty of space to eat, work, and play.

Here’s what you should know before you decide to rent this property:
1. The view is spectacular…unsurpassed!
2. The deadbolts/locks on doors don’t all work. One night during a storm we had to use a chair to keep the front door closed
3. The dock area with loungers and “swimming cove” is a wonderful place for family to enjoy the cool clean water of Torch Lake
4. This property would really benefit from a predictive and preventive maintenance. program. We were greeted by the property manager with the “bad news” that the hot tub did not work which was one of the main reasons we selected this home. Only after we were insistent did they fix the unit the next day.
5. Our third night around 10 pm the air conditioning went out on one end of the house taking the property from a 7 BR home to a 4 bedroom home. This required numerous guests including a baby to move to couches for the night. Again, had we not insisted that the manager authorize an emergency night call to a HVAC tech, he would not have had it fixed until the next day. I am convinced that he was aware that there was a problem when we arrived to the property because he told us that the end of the home was a “little warmer”. I do not consider 83° a little warmer especially for an infant. Sidebar: the HVAC tech was great-He finished up by midnight and the rooms were cool by 2am but by then everybody was asleep on the couches.
6. The game room and workout room are phenomenal! Movie room, on the other hand, was not really usable because it did not have a smart TV
7. The views from the bedroom decks would have been a lot more enjoyable if they would purchase a few inexpensive deck chairs.
8. While the kitchen was reasonably stocked with utensils and basic food items like coffee, sugar and spices, coffee maker had to be rigged to keep from overflowing and the toaster burned food even on lowest setting. Several bedside lamps had burned out bulbs and bedding and linens, although plentiful, were well used and in need of replacement. These are the kind of small details that keep this property from reflecting the grandeur it was clearly intended to have.
