We loved the ambiance of this B&B!

Honestly, there was nothing we didn’t like.

Ad and Ester were wonderful hosts. Lovely breakfast each morning. Comfortable beds. The room stayed relatively cool, even though the weather was hot. This is a beautiful old building with a lovely courtyard. We had an excellent stay!

Though nothing we saw was dusty (everything was very clean), I have a feeling that dust lurks in some of the higher spaces that are hard to reach (like above the bathrooms). My kids, who are sensitive to dust, were a little sneezy at times. My husband and I didn't have an issue.

breakfast was excellent and ample. the courtyard is welcoming and lovely. Esther and Ad are perfect hosts, accomodating and easy to communicate with, very friendly and also talented artists.

Breakfast, as others have said, is good and sufficient enough that you could make a packed lunch from it if you wanted to. The kitchen has good gadgets like a coffee maker and kettle etc. The oven was particularly good too. I liked the way the sun shone into the room in the morning. It was nice that there was a bottle of wine and beer for us when we first arrived. The bed was very comfortable and the sheets were clean.

Although the room was clean, it was really only superficially so. The room (we were in Room C) really needs a thorough clean. The struts under the TV table were covered in dust, under the settee was a horror story and the radiator by the door is very grubby. An hour or two of deep cleaning would completely resolve these issues. We chose this property because it looked a bit quirky - which it is - and Esther is a lovely lady and I do not wish to harm their business, but the room FELT dirty. (The carpet in the bedroom area isn't nice - if it was mine, I'd replace it with the parquet flooring that was in the living area.)
