This beach home is meticulously maintained and updated every year. 6 Bedroom, 5.5 bath, semi-oceanfront in 4WD area, great ocean views, pool, Many extras provided! 100 Yards from the Ocean. Public Easement Access right in front of home, less than a 2 min. walk to beach. We provide two beach parking passes with your weekly rental so that you can park on the beach. You can drive all of your gear to the beach and park near the dune in front of the house. Folks can walk back to the house (1-2 min) for lunch, a nap or a dip in the pool. Great Ocean Views! Weekly rentals only with check in and check out on Sundays! The house name is Carova Heights, and located 3.5 miles south of the Virginia border in Carova Beach. It is approximately a 7.5 mile drive up the beach from Corolla to access the house. This house is one lot back from oceanfront and is about 15ft. higher. The house elevation is higher than any other house as far as the eye can see. Ocean views from all decks and great room. You can see miles in all directions. A 4WD vehicle is a must. Located in the wild horse reserve area. This is a modern house with many amenities; indoor jacuzzi tubs (2), hot tub, lovely private pool and comfortable pool furniture, pool cabana bar and refrigerator, recreation room with pool table, extra full size refrigerator and chest freezer, satellite TV with premium stations, on demand roku, amazon netflix, high speed internet with wireless wi-fi available throughout house and outside decks. We have lots of multi-position comfortable beach chairs. We provide our own high quality sheets and towels, but you must bring your own beach towels and beach gear. You are allowed to drive on the beach, bring all of your stuff and even park on the beach for the day. Paper goods, dish and laundry detergent, spices, shampoo, lotion, soap and many more items supplied with rental. Cooking utensils and appliances supplied. Two grocery stores located about 20/30 minutes from the house - Food Lion and Harris Teeter. Daily visitations by small herds of wild horses. Your best chance for an eco-luxury vacation! Rates discounted and very competitive for 2026! Limit of 12 persons (this limit includes both adults and children). Up to two canine guests welcome with pre-approval. Canine guests must be up to date on their shots and on a flea and trick preventative.

Carova Heights was in an amazing neighborhood on the 4x4 portion of Corolla. The owners were fantastic with communication before, during, and after our stay. Property was exactly as advertised and exceeded expectations. The home had beautiful views and was the perfect size for our party of 12.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful home in Carova! From the moment we arrived, we were struck by how peaceful and private the location felt, surrounded by the beauty of the Outer Banks and with wild horses roaming nearby—it was magical.The house itself was spotless, spacious, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen had all the essentials for cooking at home, and the open layout made it perfect for spending time together as a family. The bedrooms were cozy, and the beds were incredibly comfortable after long days at the beach.The outdoor spaces were a highlight—plenty of deck space to enjoy the ocean breeze, and the pool was clean and inviting. We especially loved the quick access to the beach, which made it easy to go back and forth throughout the day.Communication with the host was seamless, and they went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay.If you’re looking for a relaxing getaway in a unique and stunning part of the Outer Banks, I can’t recommend this home enough. We left feeling recharged and already can’t wait to come back!

This is a spacious, beautifully maintained home -- doesn't at all feel like a rental. It boasts a gorgeous kitchen/dining room/great room with large tv and great views of the ocean. All the bedrooms are well-appointed and beds and bedding are in great shape. The owner, Rande, provides tons of amenities -- you'll be well-stocked with linens, bath towels, paper products (toilet paper, paper towels, kleenex, napkins), soap/shampoo, laundry detergent, spices and cooking oil, etc. There is also every small kitchen appliance you can think of, from a waffle iron to multiple blenders and even a popcorn machine. There are books, puzzles and games, as well as ton of beach gear (large tent, beach chairs, beach toys). The decks and outdoor pool have nice cushioned furniture, and there is even a Tiki Bar by the pool. We loved our stay and can't say enough good things about the house and the rental experience.
