Nice property with great a pool and stunning view

Views from our terrace and from the pool were amazing. The owners were very friendly and responsive if we needed anything, also friendly towards our dog. We were able to pick and enjoy figs from their trees in the garden 😊. The Wi-Fi was a good signal and the small washing machine in our apartment very useful.

On arrival the drive up to the property was very narrow but the owners kindly gave us a key pass to the adjoining property meaning we could come and go during our stay using another route which was fine.

Overall a disappointing

The apartment was clean, comfortable enough and the surroundings were nice. On the patio the view is pretty.

We had booked this accommodation because of the beautiful pictures as well as the good reviews and high rating. Unfortunately, our expectations have not been met because of multiple reasons. First, the advertisement reads that the accommodation is private and silent. However, the patio in front of the apartment is right beside the patio of the apartment next to it, only separated by a plastic screen. Neither is there a truly private garden or swimming pool since it is shared with the other guests. We did not find the location to be silent either, since there is a lot of road noise coming from the nearby valley. On top of that, the fridge made quite a loud, low frequency zooming noise, which was a nuisance at night. Second, the wi-fi connection was very poor inside the apartment. When we contacted the hostess about this issue, we didn’t find her to be helpful. She advised us to go outside for a better connection. When we told her we also wanted wi-fi inside, especially since rain was forecasted, she finally ended up sending someone over. However, he kept insisting that his wi-fi connection was working. When we convinced him that our wi-fi was indeed very poor, he blamed it on the thick walls and said he couldn’t do anything to help us. Third, we found that there was an overall lack of care and attention to detail in the apartment. To give some examples, all important documents about the accommodation were only printed in Italian, there was no hand soap anywhere in the apartment, the fridge wasn’t turned on upon arrival, there was no dish cloth, there were only one coffee capsule and two teabags, and most of the lightbulbs in the apartment had very unflattering bright white light, which killed the romance. Finally, the hostess asked us to separate our waste into five categories, but only provided us with one bin. So, we ended up with four loose trash bags in the kitchen. Overall, our stay was decent.

Fantastic guest house with and outstanding view over the village.

Very nice owner of a beautyful property. Lovely garden, good pool, BBQ onsite, Friendly to dogs, House small but nice and clean, quite modern bath, with washing machine. Good working air condition. Supermarket in walking distance.

Dishwasher would be good. Little bit small for 4 persons. The street to the property i hard if you are not used - you may scratch your mirror

Cosy, sunny cottage with spectacular views

Lovely, cosy cottage with a spectacular view over the town of Imperia and the sea. We appreciated the heating, as we were staying in December. Warm welcome by owner Alida, who showed us everything. The kitchen is small, but provided everything we needed. Lovely terrasse with morning sun. Dog friendly. Shops, restaurants and old town are all within walking distance. I can warmly recommend Villa Caterina.

Most amazing view, highly recommended!

The view is amaaaazing. It's even better than on the pictures. We loved the fact that there is a private swimming pool with a panoramic view over the city and the sea. The accomodation itself was as amazing as the view. It has everything you'll need. The hosts are super nice and will help you if needed (such as tips for local restaurants). I would highly recommend staying here!

The road is quite steep and small. We have a big car, but it wasn't a problem for us because we're used to it. For others it might be a bit scary and the walk up to the villa might be too much for some by foot as well.

Zentrale Lage am Berg von Porto Maurizio, perfekt für Pärchen, die das Besondere suchen

Alles wie beschrieben, eine unfassbar schöne Anlage am Berg, schöne Wohnung, sehr nette und behilfliche Eigentümerin, wir durften wg. unseres großen PKW durch die residential area fahren, toller Blick, Bad mit Fenster, eigene Terrasse, alles sehr sauber und gepflegt. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Empfindliche stört möglicherweise das Rauschen der dahinter liegenden Autobahn, dieses war für uns zu vernachlässigen.

Aanrader!

De locatie , de tuin en omgeving en vooral Het zoutwater zwembad met het beste en mooiste uitzicht op de oude stad was geweldig, prachtig en een aanrader. Ook voelt het als een Oase van rust. Super vriendelijke verhuurders en wij kregen met weggaan een hele mooie olijfolie mee uit de streek. Handig om te weten dat de weg naar de Villa toe heel erg smal is en als je van het platte land komt is dat best wennen. Voor onze auto was het echt Millimeter werk en het is geen eenrichtingsweg. Voor ons was dat spannend. De host had wel een goeie tip, use the claxon!!!

Als je zoals ik, van koken houd dan is de keuken en materialen minder geschikt. Los zittende kraan en handvatten van pannen en minder schoon als wat ik gewend ben. Maar ieder zo zijn eigen referentiekaders. Het heeft verder voor ons niet invloed op onze vakantie gehad omdat wij positief zijn ingesteld en overal een feestje van maken. Ik heb altijd gereedschap bij me en de boel weer aangedraaid. Of je gaat gewoon uit eten 🙂

Es hatte positive und negative Seiten.

Die Unterkunft war sauber , es hat an nichts gefehlt.

Leider hatten wir eine unschöne Erfahrung , uns wurde nicht alles richtig gesagt, so hatten wir den Hund mit am Pool (nicht IM Pool), wurden dann von dem Dauergast beleidigt. Mit so Aussagen „Ihr scheiß Deutschen, ihr seid so blöd und könnt gar nichts.“ Er hat auch durchgehend geschrien und sich überhaupt nicht beruhigt. Es war total asozial. Wir hatten dies der Besitzerin gesagt, Sie hat uns gar nicht verstanden und die Situation klein gesprochen aber ich finde so ein Verhalten nicht in Ordnung. Des Weiteren haben wir geklärt das meine kranke Mutter mitkommt , man hätte aber im Vorhinein sagen können , dass die Unterkunft nicht behindertengerecht ist, leider ist Sie gestürzt und wir mussten ins Krankenhaus. (Sehr gutes Krankenhaus , nur mal so am Rande)

Ruhige Lage, Grün, von Olivenbäumen über Zitronen bis Rosmarin um einen Herum und das ganze sehr gepflegt. Toller Ausblick. Sehr Nette Gasgeber.

Wenn man ein Auto mit 2 m + Breite hat. Sollte man den Gastgeber anrufen, damit er einem die separate Auffahrt öffnet. Was aber kein Problem ist.👍🏻 Autos bis zu 2 m kein Problem!

Dal nostro appartamento avevamo una vista mozzafiato, con il tempo favorevole si riesce anche a fare colazione vista Imperia e mare.. L'appartamento molto bello, nuovo e con tutto il necessario anche in cucina. Un soggiorno breve ma sicuramente ritorneremo.
