Staying at Samudra beach was a wonderful way to end our Sri Lankan trip. The Villa was complete luxury for our family.
The team was warm and welcoming. The food was exceptional, so we decided to have all of our meals at the villa. Galle is only 20 min drive away. We headed there one afternoon for a walk around the old city but then were very happy to be back to the comfort of our villa. We enjoyed reading by the pool, going for long walks on the beach right at the back of the villa. The team was kind to arrange a private massage for us on the veranda.
Very grateful to Ruwan and the team for their warmth and hospitality.

Prachtig mooie goed onderhouden villa. Veel plekjes waar je kunt zitten, heerlijk zittend bankstel. Ruime kamers, waarvan een met een heerlijk bed (andere 2 kamers hebben wat hardere matrassen). Zeer gastvrije bediening. Prima ontbijt en we hebben ook een keer een heerlijke lunch laten bereiden (je betaald dan alleen voor de ingredienten). 'S-avonds heerlijk gegeten bij het vlakbij gelegen Shanti Shanti (klein stukje met de tuktuk). Huismanager had nog voor me geregeld dat ik op de luchtmachtbasis van Koggola kon golfen, niet heel erg mooie golfbaan, maar juist wel een heel bijzondere ervaring.
Niets, als ik echt wat moet zoeken dan zou ik nog een punt kunnen maken van de af en toe langs komende trein die wel goed te horen was. De zee is niet echt geschikt om te zwemmen, maar dat was vooraf bekend en heb je met het gigantische zwembad ook niet nodig. Kinderen vonden met hun snorkels nog wel wat krabbenresten in de hoeken van het zwembad.

Sehr schöne Villa an einem tollen Ort. Die Villa ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und war für uns perfekt mit super Pool. Der Strand ist auch sehr schön, doch zum Schwimmen war die Strömung zu gefährlich. Der Besitzer und das Personal sind sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Das Frühstück war immer sehr lecker und auf Wunsch wurde auch ein sehr gutes Nachtessen gekocht. Für uns war es ein perfekter Urlaub. Absolut empfehlenswert.
