The house is set on a hill with four levels in total. The views of Souda Bay and the Crete mainland are magnificent!
We were a family of five kids and two adults and the house was perfect for us. The different levels of the house created a bit of privacy for all of us but at the same time we gathered all by the pool during daytime and on the terrace at dinner when we did our barbecue dinners overlooking the bay in sunset.
The facilities of the house are great. Everything is there and we hardly left the house except for some grocery shopping. Stella and her crew made us feel welcomed and their hospitality was fantastic. Thanks for a great stay!
There were lots of stairs because of the steep hill. It can be a bit difficult if you have small kids or children in a stroller.

The house was just perfect, everything you need. Good beds, fresh bedlinen, towels and even shampoo, conditioner, soap, toiletpaper. outside a pizzaoven and bbq. More than enough places to sit, shadow or sun. There was a little breese. Even it was the last week of april the temperature was around 25 degrees.
The airport is only 7 minutes away, don't let this stop you from renting the house. (we heard it only 2 times in the distance)
But the best of all is Stella, the owner. She is the model of Greek hospitality!! What a warm and sincerely interested lady. She has an eye for detail and that you can see at the house and garden.
(Marathi beach is nice to visit, the restaurant Patrelantonis is recommended!)
