What a gorgeous accommodation with a beautiful and warm welcome from the hosts. You are surrounded in nature here and have the most stunning views from the balcony. We were lucky enough to catch a storm and watch the lightning move across the islands and mountains while in the opposite direction, fireworks went off. What an experience! We stayed with our two kids who were so warmly welcomed by the hosts and their family too. Our kids were never bored there as we went to the beach right across the road where they collected so much sea glass and saw an octopus, played and explored around the apartment in nature, and we also went to the beach which is 2km south too. The air con works really well in the apartment and they have everything there to make meals and just feel completely at home. We rented a car from Bandalo, just outside of Slano towards the end of our stay. It made all the difference.

It is a little far from everything, so if you are travelling with kids, I'd highly recommend renting a car and loading up on groceries from Dubrovnik or one of the bigger towns. Groceries in the nearby smaller towns like Slano and Trsteno are way overpriced!! As are taxis! Communicating before the stay is a little difficult too as the hosts work with an agency so when I had sent messages asking some questions, for example about early check in, there was no response. Not a big deal but it is nice to be able to communicate with actual people before the stay sometimes; especially when traveling with kids.

Rooms and facilities were OK, host was also very friendly. Close to a secluded rocky beach, within 50 meters, another larger beach with sunbeds and a beach restaurant within 2km. 30 minutes from Dubrovnik it is a nice option for a day trip. Our cat was also welcomed.

Access from main road not easy if comming from Makarska, no stores or restaurants nearby (first ones are within 5 to 7kms)
