The breakfasts overlooking Drake Bay while watching the colourful tanagers & scarlet macaws are exceptional!
There was a storm which knocked out WiFi across the whole village on one night so make sure you have your activity details saved as hard copies somewhere with you.

We had an absolutely beautiful time. From when we were greeted, we were refreshed with a delicious cup of tea and an attractive plate of fruit. My absolute favorite was the bright colored birds, McCaws and the monkeys greeting us for breakfast. The hike up to our place was invigorating. The view was breathtaking. And the people were lovely, kind, and warm. I enjoy their stories they share, they warm my soul. They live through their heart. Thank for giving us such a lifetime of memories. I will be back. Thank you Yammy.
The hike up to the place is a little challenging. Just need to take your time and embrace the surrounding beauty of the nature and animals. Other then that I have nothing negative .

Absolutely amazing place, the photos do not do it justice! Felt like we were immersed in nature with agouti, hummingbirds, monkeys, iguanas and a huge array of birds seen during our stay! All the staff were so friendly and had excellent communication throughout our stay to help with any small thing. The breakfast was delicious and filling with an amazing view to be enjoyed each day. The rooms themselves were very clean and comfortable. Only a short walk into town, key tour pick up points and delicious restaurants

The family that owns Casa Horizontes is super responsive, and flexible. There is AC in the room, there are 4 types of breakfast menus to choose from and you have the pleasure of eating staring at the Bay and with birds all over you! I saw Tucans, Macaws, hummingbirds, one Aguti, and 2 capuchi monkeys!
They had an adaptor in the room and were always very responsive to all my questions through watsapp. As a solo traveler I felt very safe and taken care of!
The way up is quite steep, but the family helps with bringing the luggage up and down.
