Million Old City Apartment

I loved staying at Million Old City - it is located in a marvelous spot, easy to get, close to incredible historic sightings, loads of restaurants and stores around - everything you need within your reach. Good WiFi, pleasant stuff, clean and quiet. I surely did not have a view from my room window but I prefer to get my views walking the city plus one can have a breathtaking view over the Blue Mosque from the rooftop terrace!! Highly recommend, I will definitely book again on my return to Istanbul 😊

Everything was amazing

I have visited Istanbul many times. This location has been the best. We had the deluxe double room with balcony. The balcony looks right at the blue mosque. A complete view. It is about 10 metres (if that) off the main road. Lots of restaurants downstairs. There was no night time noise. No traffic noise. Room size was very good. Water pressure in shower was good. Room was cleaned every day. The reception was rarely staffed but if we needed anything, we asked the staff in the restaurant downstairs as it is the same ownership (as well as the restaurant opposite), and they were always happy to help. For the price, it vastly exceeded my expectations. No steep hills to walk up to is also a bonus.

There were small things that were not quite right. The TV was on the left of the bed so to watch it needed to sit at end of bed (but small niggle as we only watch a little TV at end of the night). Toilet lid was not fixed (the seat was fine). But the excellence of the location ar overweighs these very minor matters. I have added a photo from the balcony which shows the blue mosque.

Location of the hotel is the best. Every major historical attractions are very near, just 1 minute or 4 minute walk. Hafis mustafa, blue mosque, hagiya sofia, etc and also tram station is just outside the hotel. There are several restaurants, sweet shops, antique shops nearby..

The room was just enough to stay for one or two days. Not much clean, sheets were a bit dirty. The fridge was never turning ON. But other things were all fine. They provided all toiletries, towels, chappals, etc...It was just for a short stay, so it was enough for me for the price.
