Tropical 3bdr poolvilla in heart of Seminyak

So big and spacious. Pool was huge. Rooms all beautiful. Made was so lovely.

The property was perfect for our family of four. It was extremely clean and aesthetic. Made, the housekeeper, was incredible and a highlight of our stay. Good coffee right across the road or a 10 min walk to the heart of Seminyak. Easy to get a Gojek to get there faster as well. The host provided so much helpful information and was friendly and responsive.

The only slight downside was one of the dogs in the laneway was a bit scary. The owner said it was friendly but it often barked and chased us. The other three dogs were good-natured.

what I like… there are three rooms. tv in one room. water dispenser available glasses and some crockery available if you contact booking.com , response seems very professional and fast. that’s the good part but when you are actually there, you do not see this professional part. the actual stay duration. like what I said,my fault, totally booked a place that is different from my expectations. maybe because the Villa is 9million -10 mill rupiah for three nights. so probably cannot expect much.

hmmm…… I really wanted to like this property. but…. Firstly, according to others it’s walking distance but I could hardly call it walking distance with kids. Short distance by car to the nice stretch at Kaya Ayu but takes very long to walk. tried to but ended up hailing a cab. maybe it’s suitable for couples who can really walk. The Villa is located at a pretty isolated area. the surrounding area is pretty empty and dark except for a group of men staying in a house with blinds drawn. there are two mini Marts outside. Two quiet restaurants in the vicinity. very quiet street. maybe it’s me, couldn’t sleep throughout. every motorbike noise at the side dark unlit roadwoke me up, knowing there is no one nearby. no one works near the Villa. maybe it’s my mistake of not reading carefully. there is no one to help with the luggage or arrange anything at a fee. no dryer. only upon request. power tripped twice and no water and electricity. didn’t know initially how to turn on because it’s located at a hidden spot. probably my fault. been to Bali many times. this is the most bare unit. would recommend this to unfussy guests. I am not one of those. bedrooms pillows smell a bit damp. towels also smelled very strongly of some bleach kind of smell. bring your own towels. no tissues in room or toilet. amentities available like showergel, hand wash, lotion and shampoo. toilet is interesting. there is a sign that says something like” do not throw toilet paper, diaper and napkins into the bowl” how do people use the bowl then? feels very primitive. wanted to swim but the water did not look inviting. what surprised me was the lady who was tasked to open the door. everything we asked she said not available. asked for number to order food. asked for transport to be arranged. those are easy stuff. surprised villa owners didn’t get a more experienced lady or guy to run this Villa. only a cleaning lady. she seemed very frail and was coughing as she was cleaning. poor thing.
