Unprofessional and rude!

My friend was able to check in a few hours early. The main bedroom was passable as was the balcony.

The same evening as making the original reservation, the host tried to cancel, and wanted contact only via whatsapp! Despite the reservation being in my name, he never introduced himself until we left! The bathroom was in poor condition, with only one toilet roll provided. The towels supplied were barely large enough for an infant! The 2nd bedroom was actually a single bed in the kitchen with no air con or working fan. The host was prompted on 3 separate occasions to fix or replace the fan as it was impossible to sleep otherwise in the current heatwave, but did nothing other than make weak excuses! When i complained and suggested he reduce the cost, he completely overreacted, cancelled our reservation and sent a ridiculously childish message via whatsapp making it clear we were no longer welcome! When we left, he refused to apologise but still wanted full payment. He was unwilling to have an adult discussion about payment and just left us on the street in total shock! He later then sent several completely inappropriate and unprofessional messages calling us liars, thieves, fraudsters and accusing us of trying to blackmail him! In my opinion, he acted like a hot headed arrogant petulent child. He should not be working in hospitality as he is not interested in his customers, only their cash! Avoid!!!

Basic room, not very clean, good for a budget

Basic room, ok if you are on a budget, you can walk into the old town.

I don’t understand the other reviews. It was not clean like Western European standards. The sheets looked used. The room is very small.

For the getting keys we got an email, but As we travelled we had no internet to check the emails. Some lady tried to help, but she didn't spoke english. So after connecting the wiffi we figured out that the key was in the room. :) It was comfortable, clean, with the nice terrace. Small cooking stove with pots and pan. Kettle, refrigerator.

The internet was not very good, the tv didn't work and it was only one roll of toilet paper and we stayed 4 nights. But After I asked for more, someone brought it and left behind the doors. The misunderstanding with the payment too. As we never met the owners, and I did the booking on internet, I thought that the payment will be handled automatically. After we left the owner wrote that we still need to pay, but we were already in another country. And the owner gave us his bank account number where the commissions for the transfer is 15eur. because it's not European account. :/

Very nice appartment in Budva

Close to the bus station 5 minutes by foot. Appartments very clean and comfortable. The host is really nice and friendly. The apparment is equiped with everything you need. Easy to find the location. Restaurants and bakery right across the street. 5-7 minutes slow walk to the beach. Would return to this place for sure. Please advise smoking is not allowed in the appartment, but you can smoke on the nice terrace.

Apartments are very good, central location and nicely decorated, well equipped. We haven’t had any trouble. Host is a nice guy, helped us during our stay.

The lady in charge. Asking for money like in a wild west saloon. Refuse to store my luggage.

The apartment is good value, very clean, quiet, with a patio view. Modern. I didn't use the kitchen or any tableware. Bathroom and wifi ok. Location handy for the bus station, many shops around. 15 min to beach.

Exceptional

They have very well looked grape and kiwi trees. You can have your breakfast on their balcony. The rooms were adequate. Close to the bus station beds are large and clean. You can stay in the comfort of home in two separate rooms. it is close to the market, bus station and covid testing lab. If you step by the city for short time it is good to stay here.

Disappointing

Location of the apartment and parking were good.

We booked the last room that was abailable on that date, but unfortunately we didn't like the room at all. It was so small, the kitchen wasn't equipped well, the wifi wasn't working in our room and there was lots of mould in the shower. Considering that we paid only 17 Euros the night - it is ok ...

Very good

We liked the premises, the large terrace and the host was never disturbing us in any way. We also arrived at night at 4AM and asked to enter the room at that time, and the host allowed it and left the key inside our room so we came in without any problems. The location in Budva is excellent and the parking lot is very useful for people travelling by car.

1. I didn't like that we had a couple of extremely noisy teenage neighbours in the house, who were playing very loud music late in the evening and once again early in the morning. I didn't want to play the role of a party breaker, but if there is a specified night rest from 10PM until 8AM, it should be applied for all guests. 2. Since we were leaving in the afternoon, we checked out in the morning and there was no possibility to use the shower once again before leaving. It may be an additional service, but there are a lot of places in Budva where you can briefly use the bathroom once again although you have already checked out (sometimes even the hosts lets you use their own bathroom which would mean a lot for us, but there was no possibility for this whatsoever). 3. We only had regular hand towels which are not that practical for taking a shower. We needed large ones.
