Nhat Linh Hotel & Suites Da Nang

This wasn't my first pick. My original booking fell through when another place didn't honor my reservation, so I scrambled and landed here. It’s not the Ritz-Carlton, and the rooms definitely need some updating, but the price was right—around *** a month during the low season. You get what you pay for, and it fit the budget when I was in a jam. The Good: The Staff & Security: Immaculate housekeeping—the cleaning crew was top-notch, and the 24/7 security guard up front was always funny, charming, and keeping an eye on the door to make sure the right crowd stayed out. The Location & Neighborhood: Honestly, this was the highlight. I loved this side of the river. It’s away from the heavy Western tourist crush, filled with better local food, more Korean and Chinese visitors, and a great overall energy. Walkability: Just a short walk to the Dragon Bridge, great local beer spots, and Zion Cafe—which has blazing-fast Wi-Fi if you need to knock out some work or burn through a book in one sitting. The Reality Check: The Facilities: You’re dealing with older rooms that need a refresh, and you’ll likely find yourself riding the service elevator. Seasonal Pricing: When I looked at extending for another month, the rates jumped up based on the Da Nang season. The Bottom Line: It was a humbling experience. It wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t somewhere I’d book for a second month either. If you’re in a pinch, need a budget-friendly landing pad in a great part of town, and can manage your expectations, it gets the job done. Enjoy the culture and make the best of it.

A good stay for a reasonable price

Good location, exactly at the center of danang. 5 mins walk to dragon bridge and near central market. There are many restaurants and coffee shops nearby and grabs car are all around the are.

This hotel is not what it appears to be. The room was NOT CLEAN upon my arrival. I literally had to goto the store to purchase cleaning supplies to wipe away the dust build up and to spray the linens. The fridge was wide open when I arrived. The customer service upon arrival and check out was horrible. They didn't want to assist with my luggage to my room. The lady at the desk couldn't understand English until the conversation was about money . If it was about services, she couldn't understand. What caused me not to extend my stay and to book another hotel around the corner, was when they placed a family with loud children and a crying baby beside my room. Their loudness interrupted my sleep. The linen was not clean nor were the clothes that I paid for them to clean. I will NOT book this hotel again and neither should you!
