The room looked quite nice and new, especially the bathrooms.
It was cleaned every day. Breakfast was good, even some salty options were there. Location is perfect to walk in the city center, but still have a quiet place to stay. There is a high free parking just across the street.
In the end it was ok for our purpose, but from the pictures and description (and seeing the floor plan and other rooms during cleaning), we expected better
We were unlucky and got the smallest room on the floor with the a quite small balcony. The latter did not look at all like in the pictures. The other rooms looked quite spacious, we had hardly space to open our big luggage and the room door at the same time. For a superior room quite disappointing.
Room 'Afrodite' should not be classified as Superior in our view, even if it has a small balcony and a kettle.
Second point: The breakfast service was quite unfriendly once the lady realized guests do not speak Italian. She hardly said good morning or good bye, also a little smile would make the guests feel a bit welcome at least. We felt like we're more a burden.
Juices at breakfast were re-filled everyday, but never emptied. We assume that's why they didn't taste fresh anymore, but like they we're open for several days already.

Close to the sea.
The stuff was nice, we were able to leave our luggage before check in on reception.
The beach sunbeds are for additional fee, no mentioned on the site.
The sea is near really dirty and the beach not nice, so no reason to pay for that.
