Appartment Aiguille Du Midi

I loved the location of the place as well as having two bathrooms!

I wish that there was a better way to get the keys if your bus is delayed which is out of your control.

The apartment is very confortable

Property maybe could do with a bit of updating but it was pleasant

The restaurants and bars in the square around the property were great, friendly places to visit. There's also a mini supermarket there too which is handy for buying supplies. 50 metres away is the Aiguille du Midi lift where you can buy your lift passes and go up to Aiguille du Midi. The ski pass bus stop is about 150m away, although they're not overly frequent. There's loads of ski hire places in the square and locally, and the town centre is about quarter of a mile away with loads more shops, restaurants, pubs and clubs.

There's quite a bit of dogs muck in the square down to one culprit it looks like, so be aware when walking around. It's a bit of a walk (around 20 minutes with kit on) to the nearest ski lift other than Aiguille du Midi. The apartment has most things that you need, and the two loo's are useful and shower is good. It's not the most up to date or modern place to stay and maybe needs some attention in places, but as a cheap and convenient place to stay it's great, although maybe not if you're trying impress someone! Also, with the two bedrooms and double bed in the lounge, it's effectively 3 bedrooms, so great if you've got snorers! We put our ski kit on the balcony, but a kit room and dryer room would've been handy, but wasn't really an issue for us. There's no parking space for the apartment though, so beware if driving as parking can be expensive! Some washing up liquid and/or dishwasher tablets and soap for the bathrooms would've been nice too! Also a last minute change on the previously agreed time that we had to leave by meant that we couldn't go skiing on our last day and had to look after our bags instead whilst we wait for transport back to the airport, which was a bit of a disappointing finish to the holiday. Overall, very happy though!
