The hotel is in a good location, takes around 25mins to walk to the Brandenburg Gate. The room was basic but clean which is the main thing. Decent shower. Breakfast was buffet style and mostly continental. For a budget hotel it was good value.
Can imagine rooms being quite stuffy when the temperatures get abbove 25degC

The location of the hotel is very good, being located near the Potsdamer Platz and many touristic places (Topography of Terror Museum, Checkpoint Charlie, Holocaust Memorial, etc.) The room is okay and clean, although quite basic for the price.
The breakfast was a disappointing experience: I have never seen a hotel with such a small breakfast space for so many guests, making it very cramped . The bread and fruit wasn't very fresh either. What made it worse was that there were two staff who repeatedly made curt commands to the guests: you are not allowed to do this or that. One staff in particular was quite rude, telling me that I absolutely had to use a tray to collect my breakfast (with no reason provided) and barked at my wife for touching a fruit to check if it was still good to eat.
