The accommodation is a little treasure located above Makarska in a small village called Makar. The photos cannot convey the ambience and views to the mountain and the sea. You have to experience that. Once up there, you don't want to be elsewhere. Driving up there is not for the faint-hearted though, especially for people from plains, like we. Our host, Zeljko, is a very kind and entertaining man. He told us several stories about the villa, the neighbourhood, local food, drinks and people. A very relaxing, and joyful week we spent there. Looking forward to going back.

Amazing atmosphere of old Dalmatian construction.

Very nice and communicative owner who was always willing to help.

We had a great stay and the owner/host made us feel very welcome.
We had issues with the air condition, but the owner went beyond expectations and installed 2 new air conditions due to missing spar parts for the existing system, which couldn't be delivered on time due to COVID-19.
