Lovely cottage with lots of space
A nice quiet location with fairly short drives to beaches and local attractions. Loads of space and a nice cosy cottage with pretty much everything you need for a long stay.
The beds were very firm so not to our liking and the TV was pretty ancient with no HDMI or smart options but there was a DVD player.

A quiet location. Ample space for the four of us plus dog and a third single bedroom available.
Some aspects lacking in appearance. Blown bulbs not replaced. Toilet paper stuffed in holes in bathroom. Garden a little shabby.

Lovely area & place for discovery about bird life
Lovely stay at Mill Batch - great to be out surrounded by countryside, learned about this fascinating area & not far from Glastonbury, Wells, Cheddar & nature reserves which was the focus of our trip. Dogs were safe in the garden.
Few lightbulbs out but it didn't bother us - nothing really to not like for a short stay.

Loved it, great for families
The cottage is very cosy, we loved the fireplace (thank you for the wood), scones upon arrival were spot on. Hosts very welcoming.
Shower upstairs can be temperamental. Steps to upstairs are quite steep for the little ones but ok with close supervision (understand it is the design of the cottage of course). Please ensure you arrive during daylight as postcode led us somewhere different.

Lovely relaxing cosy stay in an area close to many great nature reserves.
We loved the open fire with firewood and quiet location. The cottage was comfy and the kitchen had all you needed. Our friendly hosts gave us a lot of information about the wonderful birds and wildlife of the area. We were there for the starling murmurations at Ham Wall RSPB - absolutely stunning! Walking distance to local pub with good food.
Nothing really. WiFi and phone signal werent great if that matters to anyone. The walk to the pub was along a road with no footpath to start and fast traffic, so take a torch.

Overall 9/10 - a very enjoyable stay and would highly recommend
Lovely quiet location. Outside patio table & chairs, kitchen dining table and very comfortable lounge. Plenty of space in bedrooms - My son only banged his head on sloped roof twice, despite being 6ft tall ;) Everything in amenities you could need provided. Plenty of hot water and an excellent shower.
Garden gate was not secure for my dog. The landlords are aware of this and it is apparently to be replaced soon, but if holidaying with a dog you need to be aware that leads are required at all times in the garden. Stairs very steep, though not many of them (this was highlighted in the description though) - some carpet treads on the stairs could be helpful, as the wooden treads can be slippy for elderly or children. Garden patio umberella described but not provided.
