Home outside home, a cozy abode with an awesome host!

This place feels like home. It is a nice cozy home, well maintained by its owner Mr. Niels, who is a thorough gentleman. You don’t feel like you are staying out of home because there is everything here.

Nice roomy house with plenty of common space inside and out.

Up a very steep hill that was a bit challenging on bikes at the end of the day. Google maps directs you up a steep set of stairs so you have to reroute.

Cozy, quiet, and clean place. Wonderful view and friendly host!

Location was lovely, with a fantastic view of the city from atop the hill. Room was nice, clean, and quiet. The guest house was the same: nice, comfy, and clean. Seemed like it had good amenities even if I didnt stay long enough to try them. Great info from the host prior to my arrival, no issues with finding my key and room. Only managed a very short chat with the host as I was leaving, but he was very kind and interested in sharing tips and info. I would definitely recommend the place for others traveling solo or in pairs! Great price compared to other places, too, especially considering I booked last minute.

Nothing major, but I'll try: The room was somewhat too cool in the evening for my taste. I tried to adjust the heater, but it didn't seem to help. It had a smart / IoT thermostat mounted, so I'm not sure if it was preprogrammed at a low temperature or if I simply didn't understand how to use it. I was able to pick a temperature, but I was unsure if I were able to confirm it. Didn't seem to make a difference in any case. The floor of the private toilet seemed soft, and maybe in the middle of being renovated (but no issues with the toilet and sink themselves). Both were very minor issues in my opinion, I enjoyed my stay overall!

Very comfortable, plenty of seating, kitchen very spacious and inviting. Can imagine the garden would also be great in nicer weather.

Not as close to town as I‘d thought - cycling up 16% hill was a bit too much. Floorboards very creaky.

Quiet suburb so good nights sleep. Loved having use of kitchen and spacious room everywhere,Good bicycle parking.Very easy to check in.There was a toilet and washbasin off our room so just needed to go downstairs for shower wasnt a problem.Host was great I hadnt communicated I wanted breakfast but he went and got supplies in for us and we had a fanrptastic breakfast.Supermarkets nearby.Room had plenty of windows very airy didnt need to use fan.

Stairs were quite steep not a problem for us but might be for others.

Lovely place, wonderful people!

Niels is wonderful! Helpful, kind...gave us lots of helpful information and answered our questions about where to go and what to see and how to get there. If you are walking or biking (as we were), be aware that the place is on top of a modestly steep hill a bit away from the center of town, so it takes a bit of extra effort and time to get there. We actually enjoyed the climb and the view from top of the hill. The house and the gardens are charming and clean. So sweet!

The only negative for us is that the floors upstairs are creaky, so on one night of our stay, the other people upstairs were up very early in the morning and walking around their room and the upstairs landing and the sounds kept us from sleeping well. The other nights there was no issue at all.

The house is absolutely lovely, I felt like I could live there easily. You enjoy the freedom of cooking for yourself, use the fridge and freely walk around and use the garden. Very cosy, quiet and “like home” atmosphere.

Everything. The nice like coming home atmosphere. You could stay inside or go to sit in the garden. Did not miss anything- You could cook in a kitchen where I think everything was available. Nice bathrooms. Nice room. Absolutely coming back again.

Der var meget koldt i huset og trods en radiator som var skruet op, hjalp det ikke. Vi blev enige om at komme en anden gang, hvor det var varmere i vejret

Ejeren er meget venlig og hjælpsom. Huset er måske ikke i perfekt stand, men det gør intet da den er charmerende og har sjæl. Og der var pyntet op til jul, hvilket er dejligt her i december. Jeg vil uden tvivl bo der igen hvis vi får brug for det.
