An oasis near the city

Our room was very large, comfortable and well serviced. The staff were very friendly and attentive and we enjoyed the pool and garden. It was convenient to have a restaurant on the property and the food was well presented.

The rooms are all centred around a seating area for the restaurant and the pool area and could be a bit noisy at times.

Simply lovely

The grounds are stunning. Simply beautiful. The staff is welcoming and super helpful. The young man at the front desk (who spoke perfect english) was so helpful. He found us a driver, and he communicated with a local spa to book us appointments. In every way, he was super professional. The restaurant has great food and service. The locals even come to eat here. 5 stars for this wonderful tranquill hotel.

Scam place, not worth it

WARNING if you are looking for a place to relax, this place is a scam. It’s beautiful, but nothing works. They will give you a room where you can hear absolutely everything outside and they will SEAT people having breakfast literally outside of where you are sleeping. My husband and I were taking a shower and the people having breakfast outside could see inside and hear everything. Jacuzzi doesn’t work at all and when we tried to use the pool they were setting up for a party or whatever (noise, noise and more noise). It’s more like an event space than a hotel. We finally got fed up when they were blasting music on a Sunday at 9:40pm and decided to leave. Do not stay here if your intention is to have privacy and relax, there are better places in Cuernavaca.

Beautiful and enjoyable stay!

Beautiful place, extremely great and friendly service, and there was always someone around who understood my English and bad Spanish! Meals were extra, and all very delicious and interesting. My king room was large, lots of space in the bathroom and closets. Unlike some others have reported, I thought the 15-20 minute walk to the historic center during the daylight hours was fine (but I love to walk).

The only thing I didn't like was that the music they played went until later into the evening and could be heard in my room. But it always stopped before I went to bed, so never disturbed my sleep.

Great to chill

The staff is very kind, we had a problem and they solved it immediately. The food is amazing, I recommend you to try as much as you can and also the sunday brunch. Amazing swimming pool and privacy.

The bathroom is a bit outdated and some parts of the building are very deteriorated.

Very peacefull nice hotel

La joyita seems like hidden place in Cuernavaca. Really I like the place.this this small hotel i think they have 6-7rooms max. If you dont wanna stay in the crowded place this hotel is really peacefull and nice. Price is good and very otantic room will be waiting for you

In the room there were some cockroachs. As i know this is very normal in Cuernavaca.but before giving the room they should have been checking the room once more. Becsuse we started to day with checking cockroachs

VERY DISSATISFIED! We only liked very much members of staff!

Members of staff were fantastic, always happy to help. The gardens were very nice.

The room. The furniture was appalling! There was not a decent wardrobe; the curtains did not cover the windows, as they were shorter than the windows. There was not TELEVISION, a decent mirror, bedside tables in the bedroom. The bathroom furniture was too small and very old. The shower was too old, and there is much more we were sooooo disappointed about! Too expensive for was we got.

Beautiful property within a mile of the city center

My husband and I stayed two nights at the La Joyita and it was a lovely stay. The rooms are spacious and the beds were comfortable. We opted to order breakfast from the menu beyond what was included with our stay and it was delicious. The sopes and enchiladas were delightful. There is a nice pool and food is served outside the rooms, which was a great touch. The hotel is about 17 min from the center, and it is walkable. However, Uber is also available and cost less than $4 per ride.

Absolutely lovely hotel. An oasis from the hustle and bustle of the city. The room was huge and well decorated. the staff was accommodating and friendly. The pool and gardens are beautiful. We will stay here again if ever in Cuernavaca. Bravo La Joyita!

I didn’t like being next to the kitchen and the front desk. just a preference. you couldn’t really open the shades and enjoy the view without worrying you would be in full view of the patrons dining outside. I had an additional $50 charge in taxes and fees when I arrived for 2nights?

I will stay in a different place

Staff and patio

Location is not the best , the room was very spacious but we need few things, it was only one chair in the room, not hair dryer, the water pressure was very bad and the shower hose was moving so much that it was difficult to shower. The room was extremely hot and we had some things that needed a cool place so we let the ac just cool enough to keep the place fresh and they turned off when we were gone. Housekeeping did our room service but they didn’t changed our towels so we had to put them outside to get them dry . I won’t stay here again . Very peaceful and staff are very friendly

Solo necesitan darle una arreglada al azulejo de la alberca, tienes algunos rotos y limpiar más seguido el agua, de pronto había muchos insectos muertos
