Ortigia Suite - Archimede

We had an excellent stay in Ortigia Suites. The apartment was beautiful, spacious, and in a perfect location for exploring Syracuse and Ortigia. We especially loved the balcony and the living area, which made the space feel comfortable and relaxing. The bathroom was also very spacious and well appointed. The self-check-in process was seamless, with clear instructions that made accessing the apartment very easy. Overall, everything was exactly as described and exceeded our expectations.

The only minor issue was that some noise from neighboring apartments could be heard at night, such as footsteps and occasional banging sounds through the walls. However, this is outside the host’s control and did not significantly affect our stay.

The location is absolutely perfect. It's off a quiet small alley, so we didn't have lots of cars zipping by. The apartment is close to everything in every direction on Ortigia, so nothing is further than a few minutes walking. Below the apartment is a cool little coffee and cocktail bar called Dada and across the lane is a small grocery store with typical groceries, wine, and a sandwich area that was popular with the locals during lunch. The rock beach is just a few minutes walk down the street and the Ortigia main circle is just 2 minutes the other direction. We parked at a nearby garage recommended by the owners, which allowed us to drive in the prohibited ZTL zone (allegedly...too early to know for sure). The apartment itself is very nice with updated finishes. It's a great space for a family of 4. The bedrooms were nice with shutters that blocked out the early morning sunlight to the point that I would wake up thinking it was the middle of the night only to find it was 9am. We loved the little balcony with a table and two chairs. The unit was stocked with all the dishes, utensils, and coffee makers needed. There were Nespresso pods on hand already. There's a washing machine and pods in the unit, which was helpful. The owners were responsive and helpful when needed too. All around a great apartment for a 4-day visit to Ortigia.

The apartment was a little difficult to find based on the initial directions; however, I noticed the owner installing a new sign for the rental on the wall, which will help for future visitors.

Nice and stylish. Located in authentic building. Inside everything is new and well designed. Small balcony gives a view to the small square. It's in very central are of the Ortigia. Parking is not possible, but this place is not about driving around. Good isolation of the sound, but location in general is not very loudly.

The place is amazing, beautifully decorated and the host very responsive!
