AllureInn Hotel and Spa

For some reason, a day before our arrival, we got a message from the hotel asking if it was okay to upgrade us at no charge to a larger suite during our one week stay and we said, sure, that's fine. When we arrived, we were AMAZED at the beautiful room we received! It was like a small apartment, with an entry, a sitting room area, a bedroom area with sliding doors, and a bathroom with a huge jacuzzi tub as well as shower. It was beautiful and nothing we'd ever expect. It was on the top floor, and we had nice views from our windows. The room was very clean and very quiet. The bed was super comfortable with plump pillows. We liked that it had air conditioning and a small refrigerator. We really felt like we could completely relax each evening in this beautiful room. The front desk staff was very nice and spoke English well (we are Americans) and provided us with a small bucket of ice in the evening when we needed it for our water and other drinks. The lobby of the hotel is very beautiful. They had an elevator. The breakfast room was very nice and quiet, and the food was plentiful and excellent with many choices. The ladies who managed the breakfast room were cheerful and attentive. The location of the hotel was perfect-right in the heart of the old town area. It truly was a wonderful hotel that added so much to our enjoyment of visiting Chernivtsi! Will definitely stay here again if we ever have a chance to revisit Chernivtsi.

The only thing is that you do have to walk up about 4 stairs with no handrail to get into the lobby of the hotel. So you have to carry your roller bag up those steps and then pull the door open to get yourself and your bag/s in. That's not a huge problem for most younger people, but my husband and I are 64 and 65 and so it can be a bit precarious to maneuver a heavy bag while pulling a door open on a small stairway. I'm sure the staff would have helped us if we asked- we didn't ask! All was fine! But I'm mentioning this in case this could be a problem for people who may have mobility issues.

Loved the elegant wood and marble interior. Very classy and retro. The hotel room itself also very comfortable, very clean. Loved the decor. Breakfast was also top-notch.

Great Hotel in the center of the city with easy access to everything.

Everything was perfect.

Location was superb - a minutes walk (or less) to the pedestrian street with all the cafes etc. attic room was gorgeous and spotlessly clean. Staff were super helpful and the excellent breakfast was about £5 and really good. A lovely, delightful hotel full of old world charm.
