I chose this accommodation because of the location and I wasn't disappointed! It was my first time in Budapest, and as no one I know had been there before, I relied on my own research. The room, although basic, was actually much nicer than I was expecting! The bed was fairly comfy and the bathroom didn't look old. The room wasn't huge, but it included a wardrobe, a small table, and a couple of chairs, so for short stays, it was fine. I spent four nights there.

My arrival felt a bit chaotic. I received the confirmation and room details whilst waiting to fly in the early afternoon. Although I had all the necessary codes, it took me several minutes to get inside the room. The code instructions could be clearer for someone who hasn't used keypads before, as I struggled to understand how to enter the first code for the gate. Simplifying these instructions would make the experience much easier after a long journey, especially when arriving after sunset. ​During my four-night stay, I ended up helping two other couples who were struggling with the codes to enter the wing, so this is clearly a common issue. Once you have done it, it is simple, and I had no further trouble. Regarding breakfast, it took me a few minutes to find the café; I had been focusing on the street address, but as number 76 was not visible on the building exterior, I didn't realise at first that the name was provided on the token itself. Once I found it, the staff were kind and helpful, and I had no issues. ​The room safe was also very temperamental; it took a while to set a code, and once set, it did not always open, so I felt I could not trust it. Finally, I visited in late June when temperatures were constantly in the 30s during the day and did not drop below 26 at night. The room became very warm, and the large window did not make much difference without air conditioning. Honestly, though, I cannot really fault the accommodation; it was perfect for my three days of exploring the city and served as a suitable base to return to.

location was good. £5 in Uber or 20 min walk from airport bus stop. 15 min walk to St Margaret's island, parliament building etc. 5 min to tram stop. couple of nice places to eat a short walk away. bed was big and comfy. fridge in room too and a safe so that was all great. was clean too. there is a small kitchenette for sharing with the other couple of rooms in the accommodation should you want to use.

I would mark it down on was the shower. if you wanted it hot then you lost the pressure and weak. it was just ok for me but if my wife had been she wouldn't have found it ok. Also whilst I was alone for this trip of 4 nights there was only one towel. I would suggest an additional hand towel would be the norm as opposed to just one bath towel.
