Wonderful family-friendly full-service agriturismo with excellent dining options & beautiful scenery
This was an incredible stay. We've stayed in agriturismi all over Italy and this was by far one of the best we've every stayed in. The food, hospitality, wine and ambiance were second to none. As soon as we initially booked, Daniele and his sister Elena were in touch with us to advise us on nearby attractions and the special activities the agriturismo offers, including cooking classes and wine tastings. Our family was a group of 9 and the Palazzo House was more than enough space for us, with each room having it's own en suite full bathroom as well as a bathroom downstairs, a living room, a den, a formal dining area and an informal dining area as well as an outdoor dining area, grill and pool access. The only suggestion I'd make to guests is to be sure to rent an SUV with proper 4-wheel drive as the property has a long dirt road over hills, which are beautiful. . . given the terrain, hiking boots are also a good idea.
. . wish we could've stayed longer!

Passable
The terrace and the views are amazing. The pool area is also quite nice but it was 5 minute drive from our villa. It looked like the accommodation options around the pool were better taken care of and they were closer to what the farm really provides. So I am sure the high ratings of the place are due to this.
It is heartbreaking to write this review as I believe the hosts are really nice people but we didn't enjoy our stay at all. The villa was full of bugs and flies when we arrived. Some part of it is of course to be expected as the villa is in the middle of the nature bit this was more than that. The bed was very uncomfortable - making noises when we moved, sinking in the middle and one leg of the bed was moving. The kitchen was not well equipped for a self catering stay. There were plates and some pots but no cutting board and no kitchen utensils to stir anything we might be cooking. They provide dinner and breakfast but were five minutes drive away from the pool and restaurant and it was killing the purpose of the dining options on site. The villa wasn't clean so I kept my shoes on all the time. Lastly, on booking.com, it is mentioned that there would be complementary bottle of wine in the accommodation but this wasn't provided. Of course this wasn't the reason why we booked the place but it is false information.

Exceptional
We stayed in the top floor of the cottage, with a view of the surrounding countryside and the pool area from our terrace. On one evening there was live music next to the pool and the hosts prepared us and other guests dinner. Was a very special experience! Elena is very lovely and helpful!
The only complaint I have was that our bed was way too hard, felt like sleeping on tatami.
