The location and amenities at this hotel were great for the price. We had a very comfortable room, with delightful towel creatures decorated with flowers upon arrival. The rooms had air conditioning and the space was very clean. The breakfast on the room was a real treat. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

The only good thing about this hotel is its location in the centre of Stone Town and the comfort in its rooms. My room was quite big, very comfortable bed and spacious bathroom. Tea, coffee and water were replenished every single day and my bed was meticulously made on a daily basis with a different 'work-of-art' made out of a bath towel. Breakfast was very good and definitely fresh from the kitchen...it's not a buffet but you get what you order freshly cooked!
However the hotel is in a road where not even our transport from the airport could go in and download bags - the road is very narrow indeed! Facing the hotel is a dilapated building and once it's dark there's very little light all around. To top it all, wifi was non-existent on our arrival due to some malfunction (we were told at reception!) and remained very poor (non-existent in my room!) throughout our stay.
