Pension Hohenrainer

The location once found was beautiful in the day light. I assume the wife of the owner was great. Being only English speaking, she made every effort to be friendly,congenial and carried on a great conversation. The breakfast was good, coffee was great, and the wood work in the breakfast room and the entire structure is BEAUTIFULLY done, great craftsmanship! The neighbors are wonderful. I caught a group out walking, and had to ask for help finding the place. Although communication was a challenge they were happy to help almost leading us by the hand to the door!!

The husband ( again I am assuming) spoke 0 English and was the front desk guy. I am an older gentleman my self and am also “uni-lingual” so I do understand but it did make check in a bit challenging. Booking.com needs to alert travelers about the stairs and no elevator. Had no idea, until I was in with all the wife’s “accoutrements” . Quite the challenge huffing up 3 flights of stairs. Perhaps another gps service would work better, but if you use google maps it will get you close but not to the door. If you are arriving after dark, good luck. I am convinced the neighbors found the tourist rounding the block multiple times hilarious. Ther is no light on the sign that is painted on the wall.

Easy parking, good sized room,and good breakfast.more than walking distance from Reutte

Very surprised that after owners suggested local hotel for a meal to find it was Ruetag. Nearest was in Reutte. General Booking.com description open to misinterpreting!!!
