Casal das Oliveiras

The people were spectacular. I don't have words to thank them enough. The house itself and the bungalow very good. The swimming pool and the area around it to relax also very good.

Unavoidable 500m of unpaved road to get there. A bit rough for my small, old Jazz. The very loud music coming from somewhere nearby until quite late at night.

We liked everything. Quite area, lovely nature around, super host.

Everything. It felt like being at home, just better. Everything is clean and curated. Claudio the owner is truly welcoming, and an invaluable guide to the city and the area. He and his family put a lot of love in hospitality, and that count a lot in the experience. The possibility to use the kitchen was very helpful for us. The pool was always clean and so was the room. The location is situated in a green area outside the city center.

Nothing.

Excellent room and the whole place very well furnished and great pool and sunbeds and umbrellas. Magnificent views form the front terrace. Very clean and tidy. Staff very friendly and helpfull. Quiet and peaceful.

We never had a hot shower, at best it was just about warm, there was a power cut on one day out of 6, so understandable we had cold showers that day, but on the other 5 days the water was barely warm. The first 800 meters of the road from the entrance of the place to Sebutal was very bad, so bad that we had to walk up or down the very steep hill to where the road was much flatter and better in order to get to a Uber as the drivers did not want to go up the bad section of the road to the entrance. We had a hire car as well as using Ubers and it was quite scary trying to drive on the bad road with numerous ruts and pot holes. If you want a hot drink in the morning you have to get dressed and go to the shared kitchen to get hot water, they do not provide any tea/coffee making facilities in the room.
