Fabulous views and convenient for touring the area and close to Casteglione del Lago.

We stayed in two bedded apartment for 5 nights. The views were amazing from all angles. The pool was good size and fans kept house cool. Good choice of sitting areas. Staff friendly. Property very secure with security gates. About 20 mins drive to main town which was great.

We booked two bedroom apartment double bedroom of which was large but 2 single bedded room a bit tight. Disappointed with cleanliness of the pool and didn’t use it each day as we planned. We cleaned it ourselves but it was still unpleasant to use.

We could not imagine the magic and beauty that awaited us in this unique place. unlike anything else. At the top of a hill with a panoramic view, a Tuscan country house was waiting for us surrounded by large green areas, flowers, olive groves etc. A place that gave us peace and grace, a rare opportunity to breathe deeply and enjoy our privacy in a primum and wonderful conditions. The elegance and cultivation are found in every detail. And the owners are wonderful warm hosts, who care and respond to every need. We were hosted in splendor, comfort and pleasantness. It is a place of beauty, external and internal, that radiates a rare grace to its guests. unique and unusual.

We loved everything. we wish to come back soon.

Wonderfull property with nice panoramic view

Wonderful location up on a hill overlooking the lakes. Beautiful property kept very well, Tuscan style, nice pool area. I have booked this apartment during my stay in Tuscany as a base for my trip to Umbria as well.

Would be useful to have AirCon in the apartment (it was even 40 degrees during our stay). However thick walls and window shutters managed to persevere in the heat.

A corner of heaven

Podere Fontegallo is an oasis of quietness and peacefulness, and it is an ideal choice to relax having a break admiring the wonderful nature around the Podere itself. Since it is situated on the edge between Umbria and Tuscany, Podere Fontegallo is the perfect place to explore both of them. Last but not least, the hosts are really nice and kind, contributing to the perfect stay. We hope that we could come back soon.

Wonderful stay near lago di Chiusi and Trasimeno

The owners and Elena are very kind. Elena was there to give us the keys and she waited for us (we where one hour later than expected). A bottle of wine and some coffee were there, so we felt immediately welcome. Elena booked a very nice restaurant for us the first evening. The location is wonderful, we could see lago di Chiusi as well as lago Trasimeno on the property. The property is also very beautiful and the swimming pool is very nice.

Everything was perfect, maybe the parasols are a little small, but that’s to say something that wasn’t perfect.

We loved our stay at Podere Fontegallo. Dean was very welcoming. The house, grounds and view were beautiful and the location was ideal for us as somewhere just to be or exploring the surrounding towns and villages. Would love to come back for a little longer next time.

Wunderschöner Aufenthalt mit freundlicher Betreuung

Das Appartement (Il Cipresso) liegt wunderschön mit Blick auf sanfte Hügel und Seen. Für uns als vierköpfige Familie war es perfekt von der Größe und Ausstattung (2 Schlafzimmer). Elena hat uns herzlich empfangen und alles genau erklärt - von der Wohnung über die Waschmöglichkeiten (gegen Kleingeld) bis zum Gelände mit Pool. Sie ist unglaublich freundlich, natürlich und hilfsbereit und jederzeit per WhatsApp erreichbar. Auch Dean, der Besitzer des Hauses, ist ein ausgesprochen zuvorkommender und aufmerksamer Gastgeber. Man spürt seine Liebe zu diesem Ort und zur Region. Er war stets für ein nettes Gespräch zu haben und gab uns interessante und hilfreiche Tipps. Vielen lieben Dank, Dean, für die Ballonflaschen :-) Die Umgebung lädt zu zahlreichen Ausflügen ein: nach Arezzo, Assisi, Perugia und zu charmanten Dörfern rund um den Trasimenischen See. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt, wunderbar entspannt und sind sehr erholt nach Hause zurückgekehrt. Diese Unterkunft können wir uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

Ein kleiner Hinweis: Die Matratzen in dem Zimmer mit den zwei Einzelbetten sind etwas dünn und unser Sohn hat festgestellt, dass das Sofa zum Schlafen eher weich ist, für mehrere Nächte also weniger geeignet (falls evtl. fünf Personen anreisen).

Un accueil froid et impoli

L’accueil du propriétaire des lieux, Dean. Nous sommes arrivés à 20h au lieu du check in prévu de base entre 16h et 18h, en raison de bouchons sur l’autoroute. Nous avons donc été accueillis par Dean, le propriétaire, au lieu d’Elena. Dès notre arrivée, il avait un visage totalement fermé et froid, sans aucun sourire. Il nous a reproché notre retard (malgré les messages WhatsApp le tenant informé de notre heure d’arrivée), et nous a laissé faire un tour succinct de l’appartement et des parties communes, sans même nous accompagner ou allumer la lumière. Nous nous sentions tout sauf bienvenus. Quand nous lui avons partagé notre ressenti, il nous a notamment répondu en anglais : « What, you want a kiss ? » et nous a également dit que « de toute sa vie, il n’avait jamais été en retard ». Une honte, on ne nous a jamais manqué de respect de la sorte … Pour clôturer la discussion, il nous a été demandé 150€ de caution en cash, pratique rare dans les logements aujourd’hui… notre séjour s’est ensuite plutôt bien déroulé mais nous nous sommes sentis extrêmement mal à l’aise avec notre hôte. Si l’on n’avait pas pris le risque de perdre le paiement du séjour, nous serions partis sur le champs.

Vidunderligt landsted. Dejlig, rummelig lejlighed med de faciliteter og udstyr, vi havde behov for. Smuk beliggenhed og stor, velholdt og hyggelig have med flere terrasser og en dejlig swimmingpool med udsigt til Chuisi-søen. Ejeren Dean og koordinatoren Elena var hjælpsomme, imødekommende og hurtige til at svare.

Pięknie położone miejsce. Cisza i spokój. Niesamowite widoki z basenu. Cały obiekt na wzgórzu, zatem dość często pojawia się wiatr, który przyjemnie chłodzi. Samochodem 15 minut do najbliższych, większych sklepów.

De ligging was heel mooi ! Gezellig en goed ingericht De plaats voor BBQ was ook gezellig Het zwembad was mooi

-1 van de slaapkamers heeft enkel een deur en geen raam. Er is geen airco, de deur openzetten is vreemd. Ondanks dit, sliepen we goed - we moesten zelf nog peper, zout, bakolie aankopen om te kunnen koken. Dat konden we niet mee naar huis nemen. - 9 dagen verbleven, dat is wat lang om met witte handdoeken te doen. Wassen is tegen betaling. Als je zolang verblijft kunnen ze misschien halfweg, nieuwe badhanddoeken voorzien? Of enkele munten om te kunnen wassen. - de parasols bij het zwembad mogen eens vernieuwd …

Prachtige locatie met mooie omgeving en verzorgde grote tuin en zwembad ! Mooi appartement met alle comfort (geen airco ) Zeer vriendelijk onthaal en gedurende het verblijf kon je steeds rekenen op de eigenaar en Elena !
