Hotel is nice, staff are helpful and pleasant. The food in the restaurant and the breakfast buffet is very good, serving a good choice of a variety of dishes indonesian and western The pool is nice and clean and the gym is decent for a hotel, with hex dumbbells up to 25kg, a cable machine, a smith machine, and a few benches. Our room was clean, quiet and a good size, and the bed was comfy, overall good value.

The location isn't the greatest, north Jakarta doesn't have joined up pavements, youll need a taxi to go places, and our room aircon wasn't the strongest

The restaurant offers 24‑hour service, which is especially convenient if your work schedule is irregular — I had virtual calls in the middle of the night, and being able to enjoy a drink and a snack afterwards was a real plus. Just keep in mind that even the local beer is priced quite high.

Not unusual for the country or this price range, but the bathroom design and plumbing leave room for improvement. The toilet is positioned so close to the wall that, as a reasonably athletic European, you can only sit on it halfway. The shower drain is so clogged that the cabin fills quickly and then floods the room, and it takes quite a while before warm water arrives.
