Friendly staff.

Happens that there is no AC in the hotel. Galicia has a very pleasant weather, but the days I was around were pretty warm, had difficulty in sleeping.

Easy to get to especially late at night with 24 hour reception. Airport bus stops right outside. Clean and functional

The location is great. The actual hotel is clean and may be a family-owned business. My friend and I arrived at the hotel and checked in. We did it through Booking.com. After checking in, my friend asked about the hours for breakfast. The male receptionist said, “Breakfast is not included in the room rate.” We did not ask that question, we asked for the hours. My friend did not respond and walked to the elevator. Since this location is far from the city center, we decided to have dinner at the hotel restaurant. We approached a waitress with a ponytail and asked her we wanted to have dinner. She had steely eyes and pointed with her index finger towards her left, while drinking from a plastic glass. No smile, no pleasantries. Nothing. She looked like she was doing us a favor. She had an icy stare. We asked for a bottled water, she brought one glass. There were two of us. We ordered food and we both felt stressed after she left. After our entrees, we tried to order dessert on the menu she gave us earlier. She wagged her finger and whipped out another menu and pointed to the dessert section. I don’t know what was going on with this woman’s life, or maybe she had a bad night at work. She pretty much covered the whole dining area and bar. Customer service-related jobs are performances. You create a warm and welcoming ambience because we paid €50,00 for a dinner for two. For this price, I expect a “hello”, a smile and a “thank you.” Even though the smile is insincere. It is your job. I know this is the only hotel close to the airport but to treat every diner in that dining room cold, rude and as if we were asking her a favor was inexcusable. I had indigestion after this experience. I implore the hotel management to reassess their hiring practices because it failed on several fronts.
