Perfect place to stay in Dubrovnik

Great location, friendly host, beautiful terrace and garden to spend the time at. Close to the beach, bus stop, restaurants and shops. For me it was perfect.

Not a dislike for me, but for those with mobility issues - keep in mind that there's plenty of steps to get to or get out of the place.

Amazing stay at dreamy villa!

We had a lovely stay at Villa Miomir! Our host Ivona was very kind and helpful with everything. When we had a problem or questions she gladly helped us! The house was a DREAM with its beautiful garden with both cats and turtles. Very clean and renovated apartment. AC worked very well, never to warm. Very comfortable beds. Only 5 minute walk to the beach, bus stop and food store. Lovely view from the window as well! Will definitely return if I’m ever in Lapad again :)

Maybe some hooks in the bathroom and a scissor in the kitchen, otherwise perfect! :)

Perfect place, small corner of paradise

Everything was nice, especially the garden that simply takes your breath away with its beauty. You are so close to the tourist's promenade and the beach, but still have a quiet place where to relax.

Absolutely wonderful!

I really loved the experience overall. The studio was small but very cozy. Really felt at home! Ivona is an amazing host. Very kind, very friendly and always provided tips in where to go and what to see. She is also the owner of the huge garden surrounding the house, which for me is the highlight of the whole thing. From the studio you would have access to a small private patio that would led you to this beautiful garden. Always shared my strawberries with the many turtles lying around, so if you are staying there, please be very mindful where you step, so you wouldn’t cause any harm to the turtles 🙏🏼🐢 an experience I absolutely loved, and can’t recommend enough ☺️

It was a little gem in the areas. It has a beautiful quiet garden you can find turtles. A room with views and very close to the beach!

A charming location

I stayed in the garden studio which is adjacent to the Villa. I enjoyed my stay. The studio could comfortably accommodate two people. It was clean and well appointed. It has a kitchenette and separate bathroom. There is an outdoor garden where you can hang washing. There is also a table and chair located there. The studio is not air-conditioned but has a fan. I found that the fan kept me cool at night even though the weather was hot. The host was friendly and cleaned up the apartment after I spilt some liquid on the floor. Villa Miomir was built in 1929 and has an old-world charm that is often lacking in modern accommodation. The garden studio in which I stayed is a modern addition to the Villa and has a contemporary feel. There is a terrace at the front of the Villa just next to the studio which guests can use. It has a table and two chairs and offers a delightful view of the garden and of the Adriatic Sea. I ate my breakfast here.

There is nothing about Villa Miomir that I disliked. It is important to note however that the Villa is located on the side of a steep hill and that to get there from the main street that runs down to the beach you will need to walk up a long flight of stairs. People who have heavy luggage may find the stairs hard to negotiate when they first arrive.

Pleasant

The host was very friendly. Very willing to help. The location is just perfect: 300 metres fun the main promenade street?. At the same time very quiet. The house is an old stone Villa: very authentic, it has the mood of centuries behind. Very beautiful.

Everything in the studio we lived in is just of the cheapest quality. Silvery, frying pans, toilet, shower. Imagine you bought all this in Ikea in the cheapest department and used it for a couple of years. That's the state of all usable appliances here. No AC. WiFi internet connection is very poor. It works outside, but when I come inside it just disappears. A couple of good routers would help improve it, but looking at reviews I see that the host does not care.

Amazing Place!!!!

Pretty much everything!!! The place itself is so quaint. The family running it is super sweet and helpful. I am a solo traveler and was given the guest house on arrival. Bed was comfy. They owner also gave me a little snack of grapes and juice. In walking distance from the beach and near the bus route (Bus 6) that takes you directly to the Old City. I wouldn’t usually stay at the same place twice, but I certainly would here if I came back to Dubrovnik!!!!

My only complaint is that the wifi was a bit spotty. Also, if you have a lot of luggage, it may be tricky for you as there are quite a bit of stairs to get there.

Perfect stay for someone who is looking for romantic villa in the garden

The location is very calm and good! 3 min to the sea, 5 min to the market, 3-6 min to access lots of restaurants. Especially liked the GARDEN of this Villa - very authentic, lots of old trees that give you shade from hot summer sun, perfect view to the sea. Turtles in the garden have added special value for our family (kids and adults) - each morning some of them gathered to our breakfast table to get their treats (bananas, salads).

Maybe smell in kids room -- it may be related to old chest sitting in this room. Also missed knives what can do the job :-) No more thinks we did not liked :-)

Zjawiskowy ogród. Znakomity wystrój wnętrz. Dyskrecja gospodarzy. Lokalizacja. Wspaniała cisza. Żółwie ;-) Szlachetne materiały, których użyto - drewno, bawełna, obrazy. Znajduje się tam wszystko, co może być turystom z dala od domu potrzebne - i w kuchni, i w łazience, i w sypialniach. Cudowna ilość lamp i okien!

Może ekwipunek na plażę - mata, parasol, aby nie trzeba było ich kupować, gdy się podróżuje samolotem.

Kaunis ja tunnelmallinen

Sijainti ihan huippu ja ranta lähellä. Viihtyisä vanha talo ja ihana puutarha missä kilpikonnia, kissoja ja koirakin kävi tervehtimässä. Kiva terassi ulkona, jossa söimme aamupalaa. Mukavaa oli myös että saimme säilyttää matkalaukkuja myöhempään kun huone oli luovutettu.

Toisessa makuuhuoneessa oli todella kuuma, koska ilmastointi ei yltänyt huonetta viilentämään. Naulakoiden puuttuminen rupesi hieman myös ärsyttämään kun pyyhkeitä ei saanut mihinkään edes kylpyhuoneessa roikkumaan. Myös ulkona olisi voinut olla joku kuivatusteline uikkareille ja rantapyyhkeille.

Giardino con vista speciale

La posizione della struttura era proprio perfetta per andare a mare e farti una passeggiata a Lapad!vicino alla fermata dell’autobus 4 che porta alla città vecchia!L’appartamento aveva tutti i confort… il giardino è meraviglioso …la signora che ci ha accolti gentile e simpatica!

Avrei preferito più pulizia…
