The Bank Guest House

I stayed in Hawick for an overnight stop whilst travelling on my motorcycle on a 1,600 mile Scotland trip. Due to a slight mix up in communications I had a little difficulty in initially finding my way into the property BUT the mix up was mainly down to me not picking up a couple of helpful voice mails messages that Donna the owner had left for me on my phone. It was only a minor issue and I went onto enjoy my stay at The Bank House. My room was comfortable, the bathroom was spacious and all in all I had everything I needed for my overnight stay. I was able to park my motorcycle in an area to the back of the property and it always felt perfectly secure. The breakfast room is superb – it’s unusually decorated and even has an old and working jukebox in the corner. The cooked breakfast was superb magnificently presented, and Donna is a first class host. I would happily stay at The Bank House if travelling that way again

There wasn't really anything I didn’t like. As I have already said I would be happy to stay there again if travelling that way.

Location right in centre of Hawick very clean breakfast was good host very friendly

Only downside there wasn’t a lift you would struggle with the stairs if you had difficulty walking

The room was perfect,the host very helpful,my one complaint would be the drinks facilities,instead of a kettle there was a hot water dispenser,which never gets water hot enough,and the selection of drinks,and the amount was,in my opinion disgusting.
