Charming place, quiet location, close to bus stop into Pontefract and reasonable walk to train station in Featherstone. Self service breakfast was adequate for our needs. Great that we could take our dog and walk her round the garden and other areas of the property. Peter and other staff members friendly. Plenty of teabags provided. Pub short distance up the road.
Furnishings were a bit tired - didn't bother us. A couple of patio chairs would have been nice as the weather was beautiful.

Great comms prior to arrival and warm friendly welcome. Room was lovely, clean and comfortable and we got a great sleep. Check out was equally as friendly and easy. Would highly recommend.

It was convenient for us. It was warm and comfortable. Host was friendly, accommodating and always responded to any messages promptly.
The rooms are a little rustic and tired but if you want a budget overnight stay it’s perfect.

The shower did not drain away properly and the shower-head rail had come loose from the fitting
