I know the hotel since many years and return to it because of its good facilities, location, and the option for a cool beer at the end of the day and near the swimming pool.
This time I was there at a Friday evening (right after the desert marathon) and there was some sort of (dreadful) musical event in the large hotel on the western side, which apparently started near midnight, lasting into the morning hours. I was unlucky to have a room to that side - big mistake. I strongly recommend rooms to the other side or facing the inside swimming pool. Next time I will insist on such a room. OK - the IBIS has no control on activities outside.

Great location, within walking distance of the city centre, with on-site parking available. A bakery is just a few minutes away. Apartment No. 302 is very spacious, with two bathrooms—ideal for a group of 4 to 6 people plus a baby. Well furnished.
The wooden floor creaked, the bedroom doors were made of glass, and a motion sensor in the hallway meant that any nighttime trip to the bathroom woke the entire group
