Residence San Domenico

L'atmosfera rilassante grazie alle aree verdi e la piscina usufruibile anche una volta lasciata la camera

Il residence è una vera oasi nel cuore dell’isola, un luogo dove rilassarsi e staccare completamente dal rumore e dalla frenesia. La signora Maria, una vera mamma ischitana, ci ha accolti con calore e ci ha fatto sentire subito a casa.

La décoration des espaces communs, là vue sur la mer. Le calme et la salle de jeux pour les enfants. Le service de location de voiture sur place (indispensable en été au vue de la topographie des lieux) si il ne fait pas 35 degrés un bus passe en bas de la rue, et vous emmène partout mais il faudra remonter la vue très très pentue au retour!

Tout était super vraiment ! Allez vraiment pour s’améliorer un chouïa .. peut être un petit meuble pour poser quelques chose dans la salle de bain serait cool.

San Domenico was our last stay in Italy as part of a four week trip and unfortunately was the most disappointing accommodation. I have never written a negative review before but this residence did not meet our expectations at all and we left feeling very disappointed. Positives: the pool and gardens are beautiful and very well kept. The views from the pool are lovely and there is occasionally fresh produce left for guests to use. The bedroom has air con which made the apartment nice and comfortable. Negatives: the apartment was very basic. The bathroom is very outdated and was a slip hazard for our toddler. We were left two towels and one toilet roll for a week stay as a family of three. Yes it s self catering but we have done this many times before and have been provided with basics. The location became a real issue for us with a buggy and no car. We knew it was up a hill which is fine, we don’t mind walking but the bends with no pavement and fast traffic meant it was dangerous at times walking into the town centre with our daughter. The buses were regular but we only managed to get on two due to them being so full. Due to these reasons, this is the only accommodation from a month in Italy that I wouldn’t recommend at all.
