Fine place for a stay in Bitola

Central location, but in a quiet street near the city center. Well equipped kitchen, fast WiFi, easy to get in contact with other guests. Clean bathrooms,, helpful staff

Simply the Best!

Hospitality here is beyond incredible, all thanks to Zlatko, who is without a doubt the best host in the Balkans! The hostel is always clean, the location is perfect (only a minute walk from the clock tower and main shopping street), and Bitola itself is absolutely beautiful. I honestly wish I could rate it higher, stay longer, or both - and it truly means a lot... Thanks for everything & see you next time! :)

Home Away from Home, With the Best Host!

Goldy Hostel is incredibly cozy and has everything you need for a perfect stay, plus the location couldn't be better! Zlatko is without a doubt the best host - not only does he know everything about Bitola, but he also ensures you feel comfortable and welcome from the moment you step in. The location is great, walking distance to a lot of things plus near a metro station. Private 2 bed dorm had its own shower and sink. There was free breakfast. There was a lift to avoid all the stairs which was also nice. Okay for the price but a few strange occurrences that'd put me off for next time.

Long story short the way the hostel was run was very strange and felt unaaccomodating. I was aware the hostel was cleaned everyday from 11am to 3pm and everyone must exit their rooms during this time (which is every unusual not something I've seen in any other hostel and was quite disruptive) but even though we had a private room they still needed us to leave the room to clean it at this time everyday which is something they should change. They also only issue one key for the room and you need to return it to the front desk everytime you leave. This doesn't make much sense for a private room let alone a shared dorm. We didn't have too much of an issue with it in the private room but I could imagine it's be a pain with the shared dorms if they use the same system for those.

Very good location, the hostel can be found directly in the city center; friendly, amazing and helpful host who provides with a lot of interesting and useful info :) There are lamps and sockets for each bed, and private curtains as well from every side. The bunk-bedded room where I stayed had a nice balkony.

Quaint hostel near the city centre

I only stayed here 1 night and got upgraded to a room with 1 bunk bed. This meant that my friend and I were alone in a room together which was great. Other than that the facilities were good, though it’s more of a converted apartment that a proper hostel building.

The staff were great and gave some useful tips for visiting the old town, which is a short walk from the hostel. The kitchen is very well equipped. I would definitely stay here again.
