Pocking and the Gasthof are great locations and value if you want to explore Munchen without staying in the city. Easy 10-minute walk to the Possenhofen banhof; then 40 minutes by train into the city. Great breakfast, and we paid for one dinner at their restaurant, which was convenient and delicious.
It would have been nive to have a wall-mounted AC unit, instead of a floor fan. It was not that warm to begin with, so we were OK, but dry AC air would have been more comfy. NBD though.

Der Parkplatz
Das Haus befindet sich offensichtlich in einem Wandel, da unser Aufenthalt von Renovierungsarbeiten begleitet wurde. Optisch sah es nicht sehr gefällig aus, da beispielsweise die Fenster gerade getauscht und die Laibungen noch sehr kaputt waren. Zudem wurden einige Zimmer renoviert, so dass wir das Gefühl einer Baustelle hatten. Auf unsere Kritik, dass der Preis angesichts des Zustandes eine Herausforderung war, wurde aus meiner Sicht recht unprofessionell reagiert mit „da geb ich Ihnen recht, aber ich mache nicht die Preise“. Der Gastronom kennt die Umstände und kann seinen Mitarbeitern da Freiheiten geben….so jedenfalls verlassen wir die Unterkunft mit einer schlechten Erinnerung.
