Haus Scheuten Hotel

Easy check-in, great communication with host and a kindest attention - I got lactose and gluten-free breakfast option after checking with the host in advance. Although it's close to the railway line, we had a good rest and calm stay. Proximity - 15 min walk - of the railway station was a good feature to come back from concert in Mercur Arena at night.

Such a lovely stay! From our very first contact, everyone was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and even more so in person. Special shout-out to Tina! 😊 Breakfast was absolutely outstanding, with a delicious selection of breads, fresh fruit, eggs, coffee and juice. What I loved most was the warm, homely atmosphere. It honestly felt like being at my granny’s house—in the best possible way! The wooden furniture, beautiful crockery and all the little details gave the place so much charm and character. I was also delighted to have the chance to speak a little German with the staff.

The location was the main drawback for me, as it’s a bit far from Düsseldorf city centre. I hadn’t fully considered the distance when booking, so that’s something worth checking depending on your plans. Room #10 was quite compact, but it was comfortable. The bed was very comfortable, the shower had good water pressure, and I especially liked the two ceiling windows, which gave a lovely view of the sky. I also need to mention enough sockets to charge my devices.
