Very nice traditional japanese hotel with all amenities. Friendly and welcoming staff, a unique experience! Japanese breakfast was delicious and a real must-do.

The ryokan style and excellent information supplied by the staff about bus travel, where to find restaurants and the main sights at the big park.
The sound of water moving around the evaporative cooler prevented me from falling asleep.

The rooms were spacious and quiet.
The bathroom was a bit cold but in winter that was to be expected.

Our room was much larger than in most ryokan. The staff was exceptionally nice and attentive. They informed us of the ceremonies going on in town that day, we went there and it was a very unique moment in Nara. They also supply excellent green tea and their onsen is large enough for about six women. Well situated between the station and the park.
