Was ok but probably won't return.

The place is very pretty, pool and dining area were nice.

We were uncomfortable and the floors were very dirty. We had to sit on our bed and use wipes on our feet before sleeping. The mosquito nets were blown around by the fan so didn't stay in place. My child was eaten by mosquitos and required a doctor to come to the room as she had an allergic reaction. This was on our last day. She had a fever and check out was 12.00. Since our flight was not until 10.30pm and she was so I'll we requested that she be allowed to stay on a bed for the afternoon as she was too sick to walk around until the flight. They said no because someone else was checking into the room but we could stay around the pool. We did and no one else checked in to the room, it sat free all afternoon. There was a board at the office listing rooms that had people coming and ours did not have anyone coming. They saw her with her swollen face and still said no. She's just a child, we didn't understand why they would say no. Not a very nice ending to our trip.

Beautiful traditional bungalows with outdoor hanging area, food was good and pool was clean and picturesque. Great location right by Balangan, friendly and helpful staff. Loved the look of the outdoor bathroom too

Bungalows were a little old and had some cracks/wear and tear. The bed was creaky and mattress could do with an upgrade.

The worst Nightmare

Nothing. I was only happy and comfortable once I left.

I strongly advise against staying at this hotel. While the booking photos depict a serene and inviting place, the reality is a complete nightmare. First, there is ongoing construction on an adjacent lot, so expect to be woken early by the relentless noise of concrete mixers. Even worse, the open-air bathroom design allows construction workers to pass by and see into the bathrooms. This led to a deeply disturbing incident where a worker stared at my wife while she was showering, making her feel unsafe and uncomfortable for the remainder of our stay. Under Indonesian law, such voyeuristic behavior is considered criminal, which makes the hotel’s negligence even more unacceptable. When we raised this serious issue with the hotel staff, their response was shockingly dismissive. Instead of showing empathy, they asked if we had photos of the worker staring at my wife, which was both insensitive and absurd. The process of obtaining a refund was extremely difficult, and the staff was unapologetically rude throughout. This was, by far, the worst experience we had during our month-long trip in Indonesia. Avoid this hotel at all costs.

The staff was friendly.

The room and sheets were dirty, and the pool was not maintained. The nice pictures are made when the property was brand new, not opened yet. There is no internet in our room, only in the reception. The shower only had cold water, we had to made cold shower in the morning and we felt sick after. The noise from the road made it hard to sleep. There were many insects. At one point, I woke up to find a grasshopper crawling on me, and I couldn’t sleep afterwards. It managed to wake me up at 3AM, imagine how big it was. The location was far from everything, with a bad road leading to the property. Overall, this was an unpleasant stay and I would advise avoiding it. I don’t really understand the good reviews…

Glad we went

The pool was lovely and clean in a beautiful setting, the gardens were immaculate. The bed was very comfortable. Very quiet area except the dawn chorus which was nice . The location was great, close to the beach

Authentic Bungalows

The stairs were lethal, like climbing a ladder, group of 3 women over 60 and 2 had to sleep upstairs, carry up our suit cases then upon leaving we had to let the cases go from the top as the stairs were too steep, scratched our cases on the way down. Couldn’t contact the property to arrange transfer from airport so had to book a ride through booking.com, website said 20 min from airport, they must have meant as the crow flys cause it took one & half hours! We left a day early because of the stairs! Pool was nice but even that was leaking water through the side wall. Staff lovely. Wont stay again

Lovely traditional style villa, outdoor bathroom, beautifully kept grounds and wonderful swimming pool. Excellent massage therapist and incredibly lovely staff.

The lighting in the Villa was very dim, and although it was atmospheric/romantic, I was glad to have my head torch with me to find articles I needed, or specific clothing.

Good option for villa stay

The entire property is very pretty with bungalows and the area is very peaceful with restaurants nearby as well as surf schools. Since we booked in advance it was a value for money deal for us .

The overall cleanliness of the rooms could have been better since there was dust inside the room and the outdoor shower area was moldy. The swimming pool also had excessive chlorine in it.

The location was great as it close to balangan beach.

there are two separate Flower Bud Bungalows, the one shown on booking com has a big swimming pool and nice restaurant, this is the one we expected to get as we stayed there before and enjoyed, but they moved us to the second Flower Bud location with tiny swimming pool and staff pretended we booked this one on the website. So if main location is fully booked be ready to get something different than shown on booking listing.

The Garden and Pool were super nice! also your own terrace was comfortable! the bed was Cosy. sleeping while hearing geckos - i loved it! was a little bit like glamping. they cleaned the Room everyday. it was really close to the nicest Beach Balangan where you can eat and watch the surfers :)

There are two of similar named locations and it's not very clear which one is location 1 and location 2. We booked separately but ended us getting on the 2 separate locations and then they made us cancel one and book another room which was more expensive.

Nice and spaceous bungalow in a beautiful garden environment. Mosquito net over the bed. The outdoor shower was amazing and I also really enjoyed the pool and the restaurant. Only 5 min. to the beach. Reception was always there for help.
